Yeah, no thanks. I don't want fresh servers (because knowing Blizzard they will NOT be optional) and I don't trust them to create new content for Classic without completely ruining the lore.
I don't want to be rushed through the xpac. I'm only doing this once. So I would have voted for a 2-year cycle.
I would play classic of they had requiring snap shots with character progression to TBC.
They should add the modern UI they have in 9.x. And update it as they do the retail. The other thing that comes into mind is to tone down specs that are too much ahead in the DPS charts.Content that they didnt have time to finish in the vanilla lifetime would be a welcome bonus too.

I like everything except the idea of seasons, does that involve a wipe at the end?Can anyone shed some light on this subject, by seasons i assume they mean a wipe in the end, or better yet, a restart? But in a game like world of warcraft where the purpose is to build a character and invest a lot of time in it, i fail to understand how this could be a good thing, so the only answer i can come up with is that its pretty safe to assume that you will have a choice to transfer that old toon once the season ends? There will be absolutely zero fuel of trying to achieve anything at all if you know beforehand that you're gonna lose exactly everything that you're currently working on.But removing world buffs in raids would be such an uplift, the equality for everyone, the raids difficulty would Increase, and not to mention, the entire idea of the buff-business would be gone aswell, no brainer (:
Seasonal Classic servers would be sick. I'd vote for all of those changes. 6 month season would be fun. A small group of people actually want to grind to 60 and grind the gold for mounts.
Add monk
6-12 month seasons sounds amazing but needs for sure increased drop rates, or increase number of items drops for each boss encounter in raid, or you wont be able to farm MC if you are unlucky, maybe implement raid resets 2 times per week instead of one or tune loot drops according to your raid composition so you minimize wasted loot that will get DE. I mean all of those are just my ideas which would for sure make the game more casual and enjoyable for most people, i am HC player to the bone i loved farming MC for whole phase and dont get bene till the end but i wouldnt like to experience that luck again if i knew that in x months it will get reseted anyway. Thats why i think loot drop rate with resource spawn rate needs to increase a lot. Then blizz need to tackle the bot problem for real, i mean we live in age of AI and neural networks, right now theres numerous projects specializing for bot detection and inhuman behaviour, i know its constant battle between devs on both sides but i think implementing AI into your report process would make your job hundred times easier and faster, collect reports from players as you did so far, feed neural network with trajectory and behaviour parameters from reported subjects, in ideal case AI will narrow the window and exclude false positives that we all know happens when people get instructed to mass report someone from their GM, and after that you should have accounts with big red flag that you can get to Jeff and even if Jeff is one man force against these bots he will have easier time to review them and punish accordingly in timely manner, he will be %^&*ing efficient. This is basicly how Valve neural networks works a.k.a VACNet using their overwatch feature letting humans and real players analyze random demos and determin/learn upon them.
These surveys need to be optional 1 submission per account. Doesn't matter if they get flooded, it's so bull%^&* that only select players get to voice their opinions. Even if only some people get long form, the core questions without free response is still valuable data.
