At around level 52 I didn't know what I was doing and summoned the boss by the whisper tree. Took me fifteen minutes to kill him and didn't get any loot worth talking about. If the rest of the bosses are like that, then they could definitely use some loot love.
I want my luck to be protected, period.
If we could exchange vashran summon drop with grigoire’s, we would be a long mile ahead. I have like 30 eggs and only 5 agony shards. OR make helltides same as blood harvest, permanent and not lose items upon event ending. I don’t mind the currency loss upon death that much.
When duping enables you to buy 300 summons for 5 bucks i doubt farming mats is worth the time as is. With perma heltides in s3 maybe it gets better.
they need to move boss summon mats to the materials page before worrying about “bad luck protection”. rng is fine in arpg’s, better to lock out the duping methods and rmt from duriel mats.

Protection against duplication is a must. (Also some bad luck protection, like raised drop rate after 100kills or something like that)I got like 15 Andariels only 1 Doombringer and 2 Staff, and I ran like 1000+ Duriel at least.
Got Doombringer on first run on Christmas Day! Only problem is that I already had two of them...
Like mats not using actual inventory space and maybe come up with a better system than farm xyz mats for summons ... ?
Final Fantasy XIV does some of the best loot protection. In that game, rare mount drops also drop a singular currency per kill and the mount is also buyable after enough drops.Translating this to the Diablo 4 universe, this would require a vendor to redeem the currency for a selection of Uber Uniques. I'm not sure what the right # of currency required should be (tweak to set bad luck at the desired level). This would effectively be an increase in the drop chance also. As an example If it was 50 currency, then it would effectively double the drop rate, increasing accessibility. The cost and base drop chance would need to be tweaked in tandem to achieve whatever acquisition speed was desired.Note: The currency should be account wide as per character bad luck protection would run into issues with people swapping characters halfway through.Additional uses of the currency could also be implemented, maybe upgrading nonuber uniques at some credit amount per item boost? ie Their item level and/or their roll values? This would allow the Uber bosses to be farmable for perfect regular uniques (eventually).
