We’re excited to announce a brand-new experience coming in early 2022 for the Official Blizzard Gear Store!
The Blizzard team has been working hard toward this moment, which will bring our community a new, elevated online experience for collectibles and other merchandise across our Blizzard franchises.
As part of this process, please note that the Blizzard Gear Store will go dark for a short window at the beginning of the year (starting January 1, 2022) as we prepare for our big relaunch. For those with Blizzard Gear Store gift cards, please note that they will no longer be valid starting January 1, 2022. Also as a reminder, FanCash expires at 11:59 PM EST on December 31 of the year in which it was earned.
More details on the new Blizzard Gear Store experience will be shared soon, so please stay tuned!
I just wish the european shop shipped from a country within the european union. With Brexit, the UK is considered as a extra-community country, so ALL orders would get stuck in customs, make you pay taxes (23% of the total value of the package in my country) and fees, in addition of customs being a colossal headache to deal with and taking months to deliver it, making it not worth at all ordering stuff from the Blizzard store since they still ship from the UK.
Is this the place where those statues can be bought?
This would most likely not apply if they were closing the store or going with another operator. Kinda like when Radio Shack closed. No where to redeem the cards if the store doesn't exist.
Well, with the big discounts in the recent times it was very suspicious, but now it's 99.9% sure the Gear Store run by Fanatics will end.Now let's see if they run by themselves again or partner with a company that will run the Europe page with a warehouse in the EEA.
What does an experience in an online shop entail?
I rather the store just keep functioning as a store rather then a experience... why is my gift card being invalidated?
FINALLY! fanatics SUCKS every EVERY collectible blizzard gear store item i get from them comes broken or damaged they ltierally shove the item in a box x3 its size getting banged around with 0 protection, stuffing bubble wrap or anything.
Does it mean it will no longer suck, especially for non-US customers? Will we get to buy the same things without everything you actually want being US exclusive?
Be good if they include ALL the stuff they have for sale outside of US. I go to OCE store and it is nothing compared to what is on the US one does any one else find this annoying?
Seems like an underhanded way of cancelling thousands of dollars worth of gift cards. I get its probably legal since they are just switching suppliers, but its an extremely uncool way to handle it.
