Metamorphosis Rune acquisitionMetamorphosis Rune - Gloves

Receive The Orb of Soran'ruk from Doan Karhan in South Barrens (49, 57) This will require you to loot 3x Soran'ruk Fragment and 1x Large Soran'ruk Fragment.
Soran'ruk Fragment are dropped from Twilight Acolyte inside Blackfathom Deeps
Large Soran'ruk Fragment is dropped from Shadowfang Darksoul inside Shadowfang Keep
Once you have looted these items. Return to Doan Karhan and turn the quest in.

Recieve the follow-up quest Rumors Abound, this will ask you to find Orb of Des, and Bough of Altek.
Orb of Des can be found at the top of the Tower of the Ilgalar in Redridge Mountains. This will either require a group, or very particular pet management to lure the elite away while you loot.
Bough of Altek can be found at the top of the Tower of Althalaxx in Darkshore. Again, this will either require a group, or very particular pet management to lure the elite away while you loot.
Return to Doan Karhan in South Barrens (49, 57) once completed and turn the quest in.

Accept the follow-up quest The Conjuring, This will require you to loot 10x Blood of the Legion.
Blood of the Legion Can be found by slaying Mannoroc Lasher, Searing Infernal, Felguard, and Legion Hound at Felfire Canyon, South-East Ashenvale.
After obtaining the blood, locate the altar in Demon Fall Ridge south of Felfire Canyon. The altar is near the obelisk dedicated to Grommash Hellscream. You will click on this altar to begin a summoning ritual, waves of demons must be defeated while standing inside the summoning circle. (It is currently speculated that you must Drain Soul on the waves of demons to trigger the next event).
After you complete the waves of demons, Mysterious Traveler will appear from the portal.

Receive Mysterious Traveler from Mysterious Traveler. This will require you to report back to Doan Karhan in South Barrens (49, 57).

Return to the Barrens and turn in the quest to receive the final step, Raszel Ander which will grant you Metamorphosis. Congratulations!

But by golly why raid lock the tank one, half the warlocks out there picked the class to tank not knowing it would require raid, and pretty far in, too. Some will probably relevel a different class to tank, and some will probably just stop playing.Comment by adscott

Instead, he goes to a streamers chat and starts trolling, while knowing something was bugged and they were just wasting time. From the few interviews I saw beforehand and the passion he seemed to have I was hyped for Aggrend but now I just don't like this person, this is your job... there are times for play and yeah a streamer wasting their time whatever ok, but there were hundreds or even thousands of people actively looking for this thing who don't have the luxury of spending all day on a video game, and this dude acted like a 13-year-old on 4chan talking trash. Honestly, all the new tank/healer runes should be held within raids. Even worse than not being able to find a group to get it later is it's utter uselessness now. Imagine creating a new role for a class...specifically a tank. It's the sole reason I chose Warlock. As a long time retail wow player (since vanilla). I always said it'd be AWESOME if warlocks had a legit tanking spec.

Now you create one - and lock it behind entering the level 25 raid. By the time you've entered the raid the phase is practically over. The leveling is done for now, you clearly already have tanks in your guild because you are in the raid and have killed a boss, you probably didn't stop at one. At that point it's irrelevant if the warlock can tank. I had hopes of doing some dungeons and stuff as a warlock. Seems kind of short cited to come out with that and put it behind the 'end game' for the phase before you can even experience what a lot of people that play that class are probably playing for.

You people whining do realize resto shaman's strong Earth Shield rune is ALSO from the raid, and yet you don't have multiple Wowhead posts crying and screaming for a bonfire all because our rune was from the FIRST boss of the RAID. Goodness forbid a new tank class takes the time to learn what they're doing before they go into a dungeon/raid and waste 4 people's time because they don't actually know how to be an actual tank and not just a FoTM meme. Seriously, the more involved questlines for runes are the best things about SoD. Why are you all crying so much? In normal classic you just COULDNT become a tank paladin until you got super deep in the prot tree, and even still they never had a taunt so it basically was never viable.
For you to get Verigan's Fist, you had to undergo an epic questline that took you to many places, TWO OF THOSE being DUNGEONS. Should paladins be desperately crying for Verigan's Fist quest requirements to be moved outside SFK and DM because you can't stand doing game content to get rewards?

What the hell is with this spoiled mentality? You don't get the best stuff the minute it is out and you decide to flip over the forums SO HARD that blizz caves in and promises to make things LESS INVOLVED in the future?
