And there is no artifact power decay for a second week !
Yea, 74 is nice. got to equip another corrupted gear and still be able do be under 40 c:
Blizzard rly needs to let people catch up, 6 per week while everyone is also getting further 3 ahead is too much.Just make 5masks give the item to upgrade.
Looking at over 100 resistance by end of July. Power creep, but not explosive.
caught my edit
I expect major catchup mechanism sometime halfway. This is really alt unfriendly - sure hope in Shadowlands there won't be anything like that - but Torghast so far looks that way :(Blizz really need to hire someone who would be on lookout for potential issues and someone who would then ask why they want it that way and remove that issue while still upholding reasons for initial design.
Imagine crying because you cant have 10 alts all with the same back level and gear. Wow does listen, they already gave you basically free essences and a full catch up mechanic. Wow is supposed to have some degree of grind.
why don't they just let us run visions twice for 2 cores, at the moment you run it once a week for like 10 mins and that's it. Even if you are required to at least use 4 masks to get your second core to up difficulty
Whoever said the Sanity loss % mitigation would increase too is totally wrong, and we have proof, the only thing we 'increase' is the Corruption Resistance.
I think the catch up mechanism for cloak and neck are just fine. The alts I am concerned about can get both their Malefic Cores easily enough, and honestly I am glad that one of those Cores requires some social interaction; this is an MMO, not Dark Souls or World of Horrific Visions. Embrace the coordination, and anyone saying that Normal N'Zoth is difficult should instead make their own group and lead; it's not that hard.My main feels like he's earned his Cloak, my primary alt has caught up because I put in some work early on knowing about the catch up mechanic. My other alts probably won't ever catch up because it's too much effort... and that should be fine. Absolutely fine. It should be fine that our alts aren't capping out. I am grateful for the catch up mechanic, and instead I'll just enjoy my remaining alts as they are; they all benefit from my main's Raider IO progress, they all benefit from the Exp/Rep bonuses that helped them already, the gear that I can funnel them. Alts don't need to be easy, they should require work and all the catch up mechanics we have are just enough (in my opinion) to make that just fine.I do hope Shadowlands will launch as an alt-friendly expansion, but it should be said, that currently BFA 8.3 is an amazing alt experience, just a shame Blizzard took so long to get there!PS -I think that alts exponentially benefit from your main... so if you're feeling your alt is finding it hard to get invites to M+ or Nya'lotha, then focus on your main; get your Raider IO sorted. Find a guild, get help, get social. Get yourself out there.
And you do realize there are things outside of alts right? New players, or people changing mains, that will be stuck forever behind since due to the nature of the system you are gonna need months to catch up to the current max cloak resistance. They need to unlock resistance to be also collectable from possible 5/4 mask so at least people who are behind can get 4-5 upgrades and reach within a few weeks.
