Dang it, no more playing snipe or spellbender, the cornerstone of constructed decks.
They say that Standard will shake up the meta but I think some of these cards have an even bigger impact on Wild. I think both ladders are going to be very interesting :)
Thoughts:Eater of Secrets is an amazing tech card. Outright bad against 6 out of 9 classes, but if played against any secret it's pretty good value and tempo - gets rid of the secret (so +1 value), on top of being a 3/5 for 4, which is fine stats especially for a card that gives value. If nothing else though, it's a great card that keeps decks that focus too much on secrets - such as secret paladin - in check.Love the flavour of the Giant Sandworm, and it has amazing synergy with Bestial Wrath. However, without charge and without an immediate impact, it feels like it won't be good enough in a competitive constructed meta.Hogger is interesting. My first inclination is that it's not that good... but then, if he can spawn two 2/2s - which is very possibly with a 6 health body - he's more or less a 7 mana Savannah Highmane. That's actually a fine card to be playing. I know I'd run extra Highmanes in my midrange hunter deck, even if the extras cost 7.Stand Against Darkness is a fair card. It probably won't have as much impact as Muster (funnily enough, the Light's Justice you're given is a huge difference between the two cards), but at least in arena it'll be fairly decent.
ok so pally nerf and pally help? hmmm...net change is: time to change classes. I wanna see some new warrior cards to help balance the Patron Nerfing.
They should design strong shaman cards.
