I’m thinking the Six refers to six seeking to rule over death, and only one will “win”. I’m also wondering if when Helya returns, she’ll be blind, that could tie in to the other whisper.
"Five keys to open our way. Five torches light our path.""Five lanterns, now darkened. The flame they seek will light the masters' way."Original speculation on the older statement was that the "our" referenced the old gods. But what if it means the Void Lords? "Masters" could reference the Void Lords as well. The old gods could be the keys and the torches, and now darkened because defeated - but not dead. And yes, I know there's only 4 according to Chronicle, but G'huun could be the fifth.
A friend of mine asked me today if WoW was winding down, purely on the premise of there being not much left to do lorewise if there's factional peace (which really only needs to hold long enough to add a permanent feature, optional cross faction play, to the game), and I essentially told him that things were only beginning. There are so, so many stories left to be told, which will give time to seed new ones, and so on, and so on. Those six seats, those six masters could very well be the six cosmic powers, and their domains could easily fill entire expansions on their own!
Of course Magni tells us to ignore the prophecies.
Azhara says she's off to claim a 'throne of power'... could she be the golden one, somehow? The nine ravens could be the val'kyr... if the dead ones can come back. The whisper seems more immediate, as if there are nine _now_.As for the five lanterns/five torches.... didn't Xal'atath call us the torch that lights the way during the Crucible of Storms questline? If we're one torch, who or what are the other four? Unless it's a dungeon...five players...
Six seats at the high table. Six mouths that hunger. One will consume all others.Thrall, Rexxar, Baine, Lor'themar, Arcanist, Rohkan. If I was planning something more long term, I'd want both kingdoms to be playing my game, not just one.
Tyrande hates being referred to as a "Queen". The entire arc of her character was about dismantling the monarchy and has demanded that none address her as Queen or "Majesty". I think if it was Tyrande they would've used a different word. To me the more obvious answer is Sylvanas, who is clearly calling on darker powers of death, and is unaware of how it'll cost her, hence "blind". The scepter of bone could be a metaphor for her new death-fueled power.
The green dragons don't have green eyes. However, the Bronze Dragon Flight, namely Nozdormu has green eye in his official art. He does in the DS Cinematic as well, but not green green.Nozdormu being the one we have to watch makes far more sense. He is one of the final Aspects. the other being Alexastraza. In the Lv 60 AP quest, the Twilight dragon says, "If you don't want the gift, we will find someone else that does." Both the Red, Blue, Green and Black have all refused.Nozdormu is strangely absent in all of the dragon flight related quests.Time and Sleep could also be a reference to Nozdormu as well. He is the master of time and sand, which is usually related to sleep.
Is there a reason why he looks like Sinestra?
