Sounds interesting. I like the types of reps that are "grinded" by doing practically anything you like, so it's welcoming for me (and way better than the Avowed if you ask me. That was just really boring.)
that sounds neat! A reputation where you get new stuff to do and faster rep grind with higher reputation levels! i really like that!
Does the Socket item stacks with Domination Socket? Million Dollar question.
Sounds like Avowed rep mixed with some Sanctum features mixed with some Torghast (but in open world).
15 anima can't be right. That's nothing. Same with 10 stygia. Hopefully they forgot a zero or two in there.
0.5 per turn in? That's a strange number. Lowest you should probably go with systems like this is 1:1. 1/2 the number of fragment drops, double the rep per turn in from .5 to 1. Clearer system imo. They probably loot in such a way as to never end up with an odd number but it just seems really bad to offer less than 1 point of rep per turn in item. Turning in 20,000 fragments and getting 10,000 rep just feels worse than turning in 10,000 fragments for 10,000 rep. Even if the different turn ins (20k v 10k) had required the same amount of game time to collect.
oh boy oh boy can't wait to another grind where the actual items i want are at max rep
Why do they continue to double down on this nonsense of having to farm some obscure reputation for socket items! This is clearly something that should be craftable by jewelers for a substantial amount, not unlike legendary base items. Obtaining sockets should not be tied to any kind of lengthy grind or rng aside from randomly getting a socket roll when you get an item as a minor bonus like getting tertiary stats. Such poor design decisions, tsk, tsk.
Lmao what the hell. The world quest item upgrades are locked behind Exalted of the new Faction? So much for listening to the alt-unfriendly complaints, eh?
My question.. if I applied a socket to my current legendary, will it be lost when upgraded further in 9.1?
So basically launch week is gonna be raid groups AOE farming the zone for the rep items. This definitely explains the reduction in BOE items in the patch. Although it's a bit concerning that alts are once again going to be left in the dust still. Would like to see them care a bit more about players who enjoy more than 1 class. We got there with specs almost but feels like a never ending fight for alts and this does not help.
Wish we could buy the BoA tokens for this currency rather than stygia.I also hope it's not too much of a grind, or that the mission table will have new missions that reward relic fragments. This looks... 'fun' in a way, I like the "get more currency as you spend it" style of progression, but I'm worried about alts and having to take too many to Korthia every day to make progress.Oh, and I'm interested in that '15 extra anima from all Shadowlands world quests and rares' upgrade. I wonder if that's affected by the other anima boosts? Could be 40 anima per rare/WQ in addition to any normal drops, which would be great.
Ok this sounds new fresh and interesting..I'm going to work on this rep from the beginning..I.love crafting and upgrading things..thats my mini game I love playing..this is the stuff I can sink my teeth into..nice.
Does this mean I still need to grind Stygia to upgrade all conduits to 226 before I start using 9.1 items to upgrade them further? Otherwise, I would be wasting new items.
I don't really understand this. It's a horrible grind of 100 days or more. I am pretty much exalted with every faction these days so I get the grind but this one is particularly slow. What is more, when I got to 8000/16000 they changed the dailies to offer more transmog and less relics. I actually got so disappointed I cancelled my 6 month sub and might come back in a few months and see if it's changed. I don't understand the logic of designs like this I am afraid
