Typhoon is on my druid wishlist 100%
I was okayish with the list until Roll the Bones appeared. I never met any Rogue that likes it, all are complaining that the RNG sucks.
I'm fine with Berserk or Wrath Tiger Fury giving energy and lasting a little bit longer
90% of these are terrible suggestions. Also, adding any kind of ability where players have to maintain a buff/debuff will turn off Classic Andys who are used to one button rotations.
A lot of these runes just don't fit in classic at all... like who thought paladins needed DIVINE STEED of all things? this post is satire incarnate.
Would love to have Dragon's Breath but I'd also love to see Hot Streak, Cataclysm Combustion (DoT), Cataclysm Impact, and maybe Molten Armor too. Since they made Ignite a personal debuff like TBC and beyond, why not give us a way to build it up, combust it, and spread it?I'm also just excited to finally get this playstyle again in Cata and would love to get my hands on it early.
Legit had to log on for the first time in years just to say how absolutely ridiculous this list is, disagree with almost every single one of these.Keep cooldowns away from SoD, cooldowns are the bane of fun gameplay, last thing we need is a " i only get to have fun 20 secs every 3 mins" buttons ffs.
Please delete this. Almost all of these Ideas are horrible. Also thanks for already making me tell two guildmates that these are just suggestions / ideas and nothing written in stone. It will be fun to have this conversation about 30 more times untilthe weekend.
How can you suggest lightweaver when it's basically already in the game? Serendipity is basically the Cataclysm version of the same idea. Come on :\Also, mind spike? really? and rapture? whoever wrote the priest ones has never played priest loledit: for the sake of not leaving a completely negative comment when a lot of the runes in this list are valid suggestions, I want to add:Arcane Barrage is and has been my #1 hope for a rune for mage for phase 2 - currently, being a healing mage main, it's quite frustrating how there's basically nothing I can do at all while moving, while every other healer has *something* they can use while moving.

Earth elemental is not something anyone would want if they've played WOTLK and seen the AI of fire elemental. If its the same for earth elemental, then it would be horrible to play around. And asking for totemic recall without asking to be able to put multiple totems in a single global seems meaningless, not to mention it would be a very weak rune even if you got multiple totems in a global + totemic recall in a single rune.
They should have never added dual wield shaman to season of discovery. Enhancement players want enhancement to work and they could have put more time into just 1 melee 2h spec instead of now having to split between the two. Also leaving DW means tanks wouldn’t even be considering just skipping the shield for dual wield. I respect that blizzard wanted to bring in the future iterations of enhancement where it work in DW, but classic enhancement has always been the only place that 2h was played. Blizzard should consider limiting adding *too many* things to balance and focus on adding a few new cool specs/playstyles and fixing/improving what already had a baseline. Shaman tank, meta warlock tank, mage healing, rogue tank… that’s all enough… why shaman DW as well?

bro asking for more core spells that already exist kinda ruin the concept of sod in a way. i dont want more core spells to fill out specs i want to try new avenues of approach with stuff like rogue and lock tanks and mage healers. new flavors. new rides in this theme park mmo. not predictable 'spell from blah blah expansion' and about 90% of the blah blah already existed spells mentioned above are pretty boring and have been already done and played with for literal decades. new toys in a familiar world to spice up the journey. if u want all that %^&* from above go play literal wrath. the leveling with all the new spells is still boring af. new rollercoasters and fresh ideas is the core of 'discovery' and i hope they keep me guessing. instead of aspect of the beast how about the ascensions concept of a nature dmg/arcane dmg hunter that dips into spellpower and uses ele sham gear lol. maybe make the pally plate viable on horde somehow. crazy stuff like that. im not excited for any of the spells mentioned above. at all. its been done. the nostalgia train is over. its about moving forward and being innovative. we have our core 12 runes set up in ph1 that are akin to already existing stuff and more. now we keep driving the train forward not sideways or in reverse. forwards.
