I have been working towards this for a few weeks, having to gear for the correct Azerite pieces, trinkets and also working around a few obstacles to get enough max HP for
Anima of Life and Death to one shot.
The combo is built around a lot of tricks, the main ones being
Strength in Numbers (Azerite Trait) that gives you an increase to your maximum HP for each nearby enemy, up to 5. To spawn the enemies, I will use
Gently Squeezed Toad aswell as
Sulfuron Slammer.
This trait will work even when you remove the gear pieces themselves, making you able to use good gear to proc the massive buff, then benefitting from PvP scaling once you remove them.
The second interesting trick is that the health gained from
Rallying Cry will remain when you go into worse gear. If you use Rallying Cry at 1M health, so it grants you 150k HP. It will still give you 150k HP if you go into green gear. Making the % benefit compared to the gear you are using much larger. (This does not seem to work in Throne of the Tides against Ozumat.. tested that one)
Reason I tested it was because I feared I wouldn't be able to benefit from the world buff
Stolen Blood before prepatch would arrive. Stolen Blood is a buff you get in Pandaria that gives you 50% more health. It is obtained during the mogu assault (minor)
Thankfully, it is also obtainable during half of the week when the Vale is under major assault. Somehow the adds that grant it (
Blood Font) appear when the minor assault changes in Uldum, even if nothing is "suppose" to change with the major assault in Vale since that one lasts the whole week.
I also had the
Defending Champion trinket obtained from the Gurubashi Arena event after you completed the grand arena master quest. You need to win the chest a total of 13 times! Thanks everyone who helped me out!
If you are unable to get the Stolen Blood buff, I suggest you get another warrior and a restoration shaman. To give you increased maximum health from the shaman talent
Ancestral Vigor aswell as a much stronger Rallying Cry with the PvP talent
Master and Commander. Do use your own Rallying Cry aswell since it adds to the effect even if it gets overriden!
The whole combo is the following:
Spawn toads and drink Sulfuron Slammer until you proc Strength In Numbers. After you gotten a proc, go into your gear with the highest possible HP and use all health increasing CDs aswell as Rallying Cry
Then you change into your gear that is at or below 286 ilvl (except the necklace) to benefit massively from PvP scaling.
You are then able to one shot almost anyone with
Anima of Death! Even a lot of people at the same time since the damage is not split.
