To be fair, this game has suffered through so many expansions. I also think that the way the devs went with dragonflight, in comparison, was way better than anything else (up to S3 before 10.2.6).
The game is almost 20 years old, they can release the best content the gaming industry has ever seen , the numbers are never going to go up much, it was time 10 years ago to look at a sucessor and that hasnt changed, not that i believe they could pull it off now with this team but WoW 2 should have been released by now they should have taken the chance. Played since TBC and i cba playing more than 3months every expansion since BFA, and i skipped from Firelands patch to Throne patch in Mop too.Its not that i have grown up or dont have the time its just the same ^&*! over and over and over, the gear treadmill is just crazy now 4 modes of raiding, M+ what ever happened to just raiding. Ulduar is still the best format for raiding 10/25 hard modes thats it. The skill level between Normal raider and Mythic raider is so large now its crazy, atleast with ulduar if you didnt have you're best team that night because Joe and Bob had RL *!@# you could clear raid you just didnt do the hardmodes. The whole MMO genre reminds me of early 2000 ARPG's after Diablo success where the genre became stale for a decade before Indie companies tried bringing them back, MMORPGS feel like that stale and creatively bankrupt.
WoW on Xbox pass - when ?
How many subs are bots tho.. they're getting out of hand.
Good to see DF doing well.
To be fair to Sylvanas she was forced into that undead state by Arthas then taken advantage of by the Jailer after Arthas died. Since Arthas was actually a pawn of the Jailer then everything that happened to Sylvanas was due to the Jailer. While Sylvanas clearly was ruthless and considered that the end justify the means, I still think she was done dirty by the story team. At the end of the day you'd want to feel sad for her because she was forced to be on that path of destruction, but the story team made sure that people wouldn't defend her so much by making her genocide the Night Elves people. Now we have a shrodinger character that is and isn't responsible for her actions at the same time. It's basically like judging someone based on their worst day. It's just sad that it has come to this, as the character will probably stay in limbo forever now since there is no way to bring her back without frustrating a significant part of the player base either way.She deserves punishment for the horrors that she did, but as a character she really got a bad rap from the story team that doesn't reflect the level of abuse she got by other characters in her story.
