Where is the clip? This link of the 'clip' simply links to the current stream.I'm not necessarily saying this is incorrect but this is extremely hard to believe with no clip. Especially considering world first 60 was yesterday by a different person on a different server.
a few days earlier then i expected but GZ to them! Also to the ppl saying "fake" yeah sorry but ppl have already /who them and they where there so
Time to back retail. As we can see it doesnt feel like vanilla experience. I had no aim to be world first but this show us classic wont give same feel like 14 years ago.
I will be the first one to admit: I did not expect it, ever in fact, Ragnaros to be killed in the first week.I expected it wouldn't be as mechanically difficult, but I expected the number tuning of health and damage to cause major road blocks, since I thought guilds would beat it when they are geared enough. Knowing that it is killed in the first week, means that you didn't need any decent gear to kill the boss, combined with the fact the boss was only difficult because of the tuning, makes me very surprised on how quickly it fell.I will admit: Nostalgia made me believe Vanilla was far harder than it is in reality, and players were really bad back in the day, if the content is falling this quickly and easily. Moreover, the sudden realisation of how easy this content in reality, will quickly lose interest for a lot of players. I believe the whole interest was around how challenging the tuning and numbers are for bosses; knowing that this is no longer a factor for Vanilla, could demotivate players from the game.
I'm curious, how did they get enough people with rep to be able to extinguish the flames?
How'd they get the Hydraxion Waterlord rep to summon the boss that summons Ragnaros?
They only had a handful of raiders at 60, everyone else in the raid was 55 down to 34.They abused the Waterlords rep by group farming everything needed and funneling everything over to one guy. Then they simply all went into MC and kept resummoning the one guy to douse each rune. The saddest part about all of this is the fact that people thought you actually needed level 60s to clear MC when everything in the game is severly undertuned for the actual power players have this time.Wait until AQ40 and Naxx come out when players actually have to be geared and good to even attempt the first few bosses let alone clearing it.
Very impressive! I hadn't heard much about this guild in the Classic World First coverage, so that makes it even more surprising. For those who don't understand why people would do this... it's because they enjoy it. Pretty simple. I'd wager most people want to take their time leveling, enjoying the journey and not the destination, because that is what vanilla WoW was very much about. However, there are others who enjoy being ultra efficient in leveling, gearing, and executing raid encounters to achieve something before anyone else in the world. If you can't see the appeal of that, I'd urge you to understand that not everyone thinks the same way you do. Congratulations to <APES>!
I'd like to mentioned there was 11 Warriors in the Raid. Almost seems like... that's a really strong class? Some might even say... top tier? :P
Literary everyone were expecting a week one kill
https://www.twitch.tv/moo_uk the clip is on there mate, otherwise watch the VODS. Literally streamed on Twitch and method was watching
Sounds like some bans are do in order from Blizzard here. No way they did this legit without abusing something.
to the retail friends: this is people who has being doing vanilla raids in private servers for years.is easy, but not everyone can do it. they knew what they were doing.
