Nerfing a boss that some guilds have already downed will corrupt the race for KJ' world first kill.
Agree. Community standards should easily have a customary belief, that if a boss is defeated, nerfs or changes should not be performed until a certain number of guilds have completed the content. We focus a lot on 1st but top ten or even 25 is equally important to illustrate the echelons in the community. this boss was defeated. no changes should have been implemented on prior killed targets until at least 25 guilds cleared the content. This is just poor standards by Blizzard, and silence from a sleepy community.
No nerfs should go out in Mythic until the final boss is downed by at least one guild. Period. It's this handholding mentality that has made raids since Wrath a laughingstock.
This is why I believe blizz is not putting every effort into beta testing like they used to , content gets fixed now too often just because they think they can suit everyone's needs and requests. :)
Just because 2 Guilds have downed a Boss (on Mythic level), doesn't mean it isn't (even with hindsight) too hard &/or beyond nerfing; it might be that Blizz thought more would have beaten Fallen Avatar, by now. Besides, if it takes more than one lockout for a Mythic Raid to be cleared, is it really such a bad state of affairs...?
@pvp changesI know that nobody cares for pvp changes (because nobody is playing pvp for real) but they nerfed the 3 dominant healers and buffed the other 2 not so dominant. Spot on changes.I just think that 10% reduction is just a bit much. Gotta check tonight how hard was that hit.
This subtle change highlights a community mentality lapse. Blizzard is trying to generate a mindset that it's property is worthy of an E-league. Changing any aspect of the competition before a sizeable portion of the competitors finish is an admission of failure on Blizzards part. Secondly, this failure, even if minor, in properly preparing should be acknowledge by notable members of our community. You want to know who wins these series, but its also greatly important to know the standing and ranking of the next twenty to fifty following teams, as these players will be transitional for exchanging players among those teams. Changing any aspect even minor not only hinders the goal of Blizzard but also taints records of incoming guild achievements. If we as a community held Blizzard to a high standard, not only would Blizzard have a more valuable product, but we players would have a more enjoyable game. We are playing a game with Millions of followers, it's absurd that we don't consider creating standards. Consider if you will be playing Wow, or the "wowkiller" ten to twenty years from now, when did you want to rise up, now or later?Wow will keep dangling that carrot in from of you, they will keep boosting new players to just behind you, corporate shills will keep trying to sell you that mouse on Amazon Prime. None of these groups are going to just hand you a stable community.
Nothing about the stealth nerf to Rogue Restless Blades? How it doesn't work on AR with less than 30 seconds on the CD? Wow.
I find it funny how everyone complains in the name of Method and Exorsus, yet I've not seen anyone from Method or Exorsus complaining about it. To be fair, the only ones that deserve an actual opinion about this change are those that already cleared the boss, who may see it as unfair towards them. Yet everyone here complain as if that little change is going to take the KJ kill away from one of those guilds.
again just mythic change :D
