Coolio
Blizz should give wowhead a discount code for character services. I'd use that in a heartbeat.
Won't being buying anything again through their store - shipping and the rest is atrocious and lazy at best.If amazon and newegg can do direct ship with all duties etc included in the price by just adding a few days to delivery then why cant Blizz?
I notice the $400 Doomhammer replica appears on the Legion merchandise page (The SPECIFIC Legion merch page. The very same one this article links to) but this code doesn't apply to it once it's in the cart.Should it?Gonna be honest, considering purchasing one, but $400 is a hefty tag for a nerd collectible, so I'm very on the fence. The $40 discount would convince me to pull the trigger.
Gotta grab that mouse mat looks sick
I agree with N0083rP00F .It is to pricey, not to mention if you have to pay it in Canadian dollars. I would like to buy stuff from the Blizz store, but there are added duties when I went to pick the package up on top of the expensive shipping. They didn't even ship it to my house, I had to go to UPS to pick it up. I figure Blizz should be well established enough by now to get better shipping. The website is also buggy. I bought some pets one day, and they didn't show up until 3 days later, so I bought more thinking the purchase didn't work. Then when I try and get a refund or help, they have zero clue what I am talking about. Need better website moderators for the shop(s). Also having more than one shop makes it confusing if you need to ask for assistance (since they are operated separately). I learned an expensive lesson, UPS sucks and Blizzard should find a better way to ship. If I wanted (for example) the new Nightmare Whelp Plushie, it would more likely be around $50+ (with shipping & exchange) total instead of $25. In Canada WoW is roughly $20+ per month, how are we supposed to afford anything extra. Recognize the fans have bled enough, and give a coupon for veteran players or SOMETHING. Not the useless in-game tokens either. Who is going to have enough gold in Legion ($36,0000 right now) to buy those with the stabilizing of the gold economy from the massive gold influx in we were used to in Dreanor.
Sees the cardigan.Gets excited about the cardigan.Sees the cardigan is 50 dollars! No cardigan.Guess I can hope the size selection isn't too decimated by the time they make it to sale/clearance.Edit: It would be nice if they told you what they were made of. If the reviews come in and they're not some overly stretchy/thin poly blend (some people like a thinner cardigan) they might be worth it. I'd be fine with the thinner/cheaper material for a lower price.
It's 100% made of cotton - they sent me some samples last night so I could discuss them on Wowhead Weekly today.Generally Blizzard merchandise is a good price for the quality. They are trying to introduce merchandise at different price points; I remember last year, we highlighted some wall hangs, and people wished they were the price of posters...but wall hangs have more material/effort than posters, and the Blizzard ones were cheaper than most chain and specialty places.Another example are the leggings; $55 may seem like a lot but they are a high-quality item and cheaper than other manufacturers like Black Milk.Personally I think the plushie is the best deal because it's the same price as the other whelplings but it's the only one with stitching/customization (it even has more embroidery on the sides than the SDCC exclusive).
I know they try to balance price points and quality. But I'm not buying Black Milk or speciality stores, and it would be nice to be able to have some of the non-generic T-Shirt type Blizz items for less than an arm and a leg (at least for someone not rolling in disposable income).A 100% cotton nice cardigan can easily be made and sold for far less than that. Even chalking some up to Blizzardification and them being a 2nd party seller that's still a relatively steep jump.Same with leggings, really, but not my area so /shrug.
