Looking Great
well, good job
It is really cool seeing these enemies scaled up to modern graphics.
Andariel takes her vitamins that's for sure....
I really love what they've done with Duriel, the Summoner and Radament, but I don't like the rest...Corpsefire looks too... fleshy - I expected some more bones like in the Radament model. I can't help but laugh when I see Griswold - it just looks goofy to me. The mask on Blood Raven is ridiculous and overall the character looks a lot more... male than the original. The Smith is fine... I guess... a bit too clean for a demon that's supposed to be scary, but whatever. He kind of looks like an orc from Warcraft.
blood raven helmet needs bigger horns
since you mentioned that Griswold is actually from Diablo 1, I wanna mention that Blood Raven from act1 and the Summoner from act2, are also from D1! In fact, theyre the player characters, if you played a ranger in D1, your character canonically ended up corrupted by Andariels dark magic and became Blood raven. If you were a sorcerer in D1 your character canonically ended up slowly becoming mad, and whilst researching on the Arcane Sanctuary, lost it completely and pretended to be a &*!@ty version of the original owner of the Arcane Sanctuary. In case it wasnt obvious whilst playing D2, if you were a warrior in D1, you canonically ended up as the Dark Wanderer, who we follow throughout D2, untill he completely transforms into Diablo and we kill him in act4.
They all look great, but Duriel is by far my favorite. They actually managed to make him even creepier!
The zombies arent zombie enough imo
That Andariel model makes it all the more confusing why amazon was put into an adult diaper. Why not across the board censorship?
I have mixed feelings about these models. One one hand they look really sharp and detailed, one the other hand they look somewhat off.Overall i find them more good than bad.
why so small images? =(
neepals
Griswold, no longer swole af :(
Feels good to see past the blurry pixels lol. Nice to see the Summoner and Blood Raven again too. Also poor Griswald :(
Tbh these models look like they're from Diablo Immortal or some other mobile game, they don't look at all like D2 to me... The entire feel of it is lost imho.D2 wasn't this '' realistic '' and it had more color. The proportions are also way too small, Blood Raven in particular is way too skinny and her silhouette and fighting stance doesn't look as imposing anymore, same thing with Griswold. In a game like this viewed from a distance up top things kinda just fade away when the proportions are so small this is a huge problem in WC3R too it makes it hard to read :/.. And then there's characters like Charsi who looks like an angry brute Barbarian rather than the sweet innocent and naive person she's supposed to be ( I always also imagined her as plump not super ultra ripped and a bodybuilder. ). The models honestly look like they were outsourced to a studio that never played D2 and just treated them like generic NPC's for a new mobile game...A lot of them don't even make sense with their personality.
You don't even know how it will look in game yet Frostyboi93. I suggest you watch out for environments first before judging color. And "realistic" wasn't there because it wasn't possible. So easy to moan these days.
Duriel would be cool if not for those hanging guts around... thats just stupid...
