They did an insanely good job with these models. The Blunderbore mace is made of a bunch of corpses chained together... so badassedit: Im not sure how I feel about them toning down the muscle definition on certain models like the Barbarian and Blunderbore. They look absolutely shredded in the LOD version and in D2R they've got more of a dad bod. If Blunderbores were made specifically to be walking muscle, I think they should look roided out of their minds
I've been loving damn near all the new models, but I dunno if I like that the Blunderbore looks like he skipped leg day now. He's smaller overall!
The designers are so lazy, they just Copy/Paste Asmongold model over the Zombie.
The Zombies are all off to me. Like these and Corpsefire. They don't seem rotted enough to me. Looks good overall but just bothers me a bit
Reminder that Diablo 2 will come to the Nintendo Switch <3 This game promises :D
Baboon demon was a thing?
I ain't holding my breath after the clusterflakk that was WC3:Reforged, but at least the enemy and doodad models are looking pretty solid.
Huh, so those blades were supposed to be the bat's legs.
I can only see Khazix from League of Legend for the scarab demon
apparently I never paid attention to the baboon demon's name cuz I always thought they were reptiles
Can't wait to see these new models in action. As for the vampire, they look more like necromancers that want to dress up like Gul'dan from WoW. Also, the sand raiders looked like a combination of Baraka and Goro from Mortal Kombat while the goatmen looked somewhat like bodybuilders, who completed their daily training in the gym.
Are blunderbores supposed to only have one eye...? The new model is giving me less "alchemy enhanced warrior" and more "fantasy cyclops" vibes...
I will miss the Wendigo big nose xD
These ones are awesome, except for the Blunderbore. It looks so derpy with those teeth and as others have said - where have his muscles gone? Please stick more closely to the original game models. This is only an HD reskin after all - it should not try to change things.
The models are looking awesome! Can't wait for this game to come out <3
I don't understand all those images under the maggor section. Sand Maggots only had three types: adult, young and egg. I guess the bugs that spawned from Duriel's corpse are one of the other images...? Maybe there was a larva/bug critter in D2, that I can't remember well but could exist, that also got put there...? But the last image, I've got no idea what it could be.
The bug areas in Act II used to creep me out so much as a teenager, I have no idea how I'll be able to go through them in HD . . .
They've put an amazing level of detail into this game. Wow!
I want to have one of those demon pedestals things made and put in my garden... complete with trap :P
