New Il'gynoth riddles!
Ra-den and MOTHER...man...this really is becoming the World of Lovecraft.
I'm trying to piece together Il'gy's new whispers. The first seems to allude to Bwonsamdi's master. (N'zoth? The second I think is dealing with Odyn and Helya, and I'm unsure of the third. The fourth might just be Blood Elves? Maybe something to do with Lor'themar? (Edit: Ysera seems more likely, due to the dragonflights being a thing again)Is the fifth just reminding us that the Pillars of Creation are still a thing?I'm having a hard time even coming up with options as to who/what the blind queen could be. Azshara, maybe, in undeath? Doubtful. We don't seem to know who the masters are, even going back to the Legion whispers, and I'm almost certain they serve death, tying back into whoever Bwon's master is. (N'zoth?)I'm sure I missed something and may even be wrong about a couple of things, but these are just my initial thoughts.
the father of sleep is Mueh'zala and the blind queen seems like Helya
"The golden one claims a vacant throne. The crown of light will bring only darkness.""The blind queen wields a scepter of bone. From the deep she calls forth doom."Calia represents two things the void dislikes. Light and undeath. This could be the tyranny of the light we havent seen yet."Beware the eyes of green."While doing the voljin quest line on horde burning green eyes can be seen as you are attacked by undead specters"The cunning ones kneel before six masters, but serve only one."Perhaps referring to the new horde council, but some players have chosen to stay loyal to Sylvanas and some have decided to keep the gift of N'Zoth. Thoughts?
I think the green eyes is the being of undeath that watch us while doing the voljin quest line on horde.
The Father of Sleep is Mueh'zala, the Farraki Loa of Death. He wants to consume the world's life for himself. Sylvanas has apparently made a deal with him.
OMFG!
Whispers are always fake
The first one most likely is about 'Ueetay no Mueh'zala' the Sandfury tribe Loa of death who goes by the titles of 'God of Death, Father of Sleep, Son of Time, the Night's Friend.' (Tablet of Theka reference). His form is also shapeless and never distinct, which further reinforces this idea to me because Odyn gave one of his eyes to a shapeless creature from Shadowlands. In the novel 'Traveler' Mueh'zala is briefly introduced and his quote is 'Not yet, Son of Thorne. Not yet. This is not the day. The day comes. It comes. But Mueh'zala will not engage you here or now. Our battle is yet to come, yet to come... But it will come, child. It will come. And if you lose that battle, Mueh'zala feasts on all of Azeroth. All of Azeroth. All of Azeroth. All of Azeroth...'So it's safe to assume that the first quote directly talks about him. I wouldn't be surprised if he is the Death Sylvanas seems to serve
