Carbot's "This is World of Warcraft" video coming out mere days before this survey is bittersweet. We'll never get it back, lads. Hopefully Dreamhaven has the next true "by gamers for gamers" experience.
The only one of these things I would be interested in is the original Alterac Valley. I was very disappointed when I learned that Classic will only have the 1.12 version. All of the other things defeat the purpose of vanilla WoW, you can just play retail if you want them.
go to arcanite reaper lmao
I'm ready and wating for new classic server.
Some changes would be nice, but faster XP rates are a big no. Slower if anything. Reduce the amount of XP earned in dungeons. And maybe increase the amount of XP dungeon quests award, so that the quest run awards the same amount as before. But that's the main point of Classic Era over TBC, the challenge slow levelling and not having enough solo quests. A big no from me, unless they keep it exclusive to the seasonal servers and tthey keep the classic Era up.Oh and give us a break and only start a new server mid-wotlk. People replaying over and over on private servers are what ruined the classic community.Oh and randomise AQ materials.
I'm all for the harder content but some of the specs will need a real help like they did in tbc, but sounds very cool I had the Classic experience I wanted even though It got derailed at BWL, but yeah some defo Classic + sounds cool no vanity stuff though you keep that to retail thanks allready got sad when I saw the tbc mount.
i really hope they do this because i love classic wow and it just was not a challenge to me and i want a barber shop and also the faster xp rates cos it gets you strate to the raid content faster cos original classic was fun and i enjoyed leveling but i would just like to level a new alt
First of all, to clear some things out - Vanilla was never hard. Long - yes, tedious - yes. But not hard. This was proven by multiple guilds finishing end content of each and every phase in classic within days of release (Keep in mind how long it takes to level up as well). If they implement seasonal leagues (Say they last 3 or 6 months), the following would make sense:Faster XP rates to level - Nobody wants to re-level 60 on Classic era realms due to it being one of the most tedious things players can do. If they make fresh+ realms, they should definitely make faster leveling with them. (Players who complain about "muhhh leveling/immersion" can always go to the Era realms)They also should add faster reputations.Barbershop - Don't see a reason why not to add it. This is only cosmetic stuff that already exists in the game. No world buffs in raids - This is a double edged sword. If they implement Fresh+ servers, they can add new content in. New dungeons/raids, and tuning of the old ones. They can also add stuff like heroic mode. (let's say for example in heroic mode all world buffs would be temporarily suspended or something in lines like that.)Increase debuff limit of raid bosses - More difficult raid/dungeon bosses Read the line above this one for the raid boss difficulty. As far as it goes for debuff limit, i'm all for it. however, one of the main changes that needs to happen: Making certain classes viableIf this is going to be a seasonal league, they need to do a lot of tuning - so they don't forget classes like Moonkin in Vanilla, or Prot paladins, etc (you get my point, some classes had MAJOR flaws.) - If you're going to implement harder bosses/longer fights etc, mana sustain needs to exist. Perhaps unlimited like energy.Black market for vanity? Yes. I'm all for the WoW Token to be implemented in this as well. Original AV Design Don't see why not. But then again, they could implement new BG's for Fresh+. Keep in mind, Fresh+ servers don't have to strictly be Vanilla.Increased rate of items/gold Yes to both. As those are time-limited realms, those items/gold will go away once the league ends. Or if they decide to implement a "Standard" league, like Path of Exile does, where all the characters get migrated to once the league ends. (Keep in mind, even in Path of Exile, Standard leagues are usually pretty empty as they get stale, and where item influx from Temporary leagues kicks in and breaks the economy. Think Venezuela situation, carrying couple mil. on your hands to pay for bread. That's how bad standard league in PoE gets.)Summoning Stones at the dungeon entrances Yes. Trillion times yes. We've already seen the landscape, we've travelled through basically every corner of the world god knows how many times. If they new players want to explore it, they can feel free to. Then again, I don't see a reason why not implement more Summoning Stones across the world - They don't have to be just for dungeons/raids. ----Additional thoughts:- For the Fresh+ servers, they should implement additional things. Imho, and I know many people won't agree with this, they should make Fresh+ servers/lore a bit different, for example, we never went to Outland, but remained on Azeroth the entire time. (Draenei still crash landed, orcs came through the portal as usual, etc)- They should add the races from Retail. (Ones that lore wise would make sense). - Add achievements and cross link with Retail- Transmogrification - I don't see a reason why they wouldn't implement such a feature. Just make sure the end-game gear is easily recognizable and it doesn't suck artistically. - Optional idea - Just like Path of Exile, add the X amounts of "challenges". Upon completing these challenges, you'd be awarded stuff like Titles/Mounts/Achievements etc. Since this is a Time limited thing, base the rewards on account. (Make it usable on Retail, and on Fresh+ characters. Doesn't have to be usable on Era realms)- World/Mob scaling - As is on Retail, this should be implemented on Fresh+ as well. HOWEVER; Scaling should only work on mobs/quests that are lower than you are. If you're a level 15 and you cross into Burning Steppes... Tough luck bud.- Additional content for each season that keeps adding up. Karazhan. That portal in Stormwind could be turned into a raid. Azshara battleground. For example, more Islands off the side of EK/Kalimdor. More races, more story. More everything. (Retail should also mirror this version of WoW, if for example a new Island gets added in Fresh+, Retail would have it too, except it would be a low level zone.)- More sets/tier sets. More craftable gear. More gear with special on use stats. Gear that grants talent points. Gear that grants usable abilities. - Add gear that improves spells in a certain way. - Jewelcrafting / Inscription / Archeology. Add sockets to gear. Archaeology for vanity stuff.- Add Glyph system from WotLK. - DO NOT ADD TIME-GATED PROGRESSION LIKE LEGION WEAPONS/BFA NECK as this would demolish the whole meaning of a seasonal thing. Implementing such thing is idiotic and would ruin the progression. We want items, not stupid 1% increases for HP every X days. - Implement "scenario" zones, which would grant experience. For example, defend Goldshire from Gnoll raid, defend Arathi Bridge from Troll raid, attack certain bases etc.) - This can be made as leveling shtick, or could be later implemented as a raid/dungeon for example (with harder bosses etc), or a BG.- Keep the game slow-ish. Not being able to pull 15 mobs and survive is a good thing. Keep Retail fast paced, keep this one a bit slower. And then keep Era realms in the slow state they are. - Additional thing - Hardcore league. Character deletion/sent to void on death. - Difficulty modifier. (Say you want 50% harder mobs while leveling - Select a buff and go nuts. Make it provide more exp. but nullify it once in group content. // Not possible to make the difficulty easier than current.)Now, the PvP part - Plain and simple:- Legion templates (X ilv increases your power by Y%). Honor/Conquest vendors from WoD. Weekly tuning. Disabling special use gear in Rated BGs/Arenas. (If certain item is too OP for random bgs, either disable or nerf it for PvP)- Bake honor talents into regular talent tree. - BROADEN Talents for classes. If needed, implement new classes as well. (You can't play the "game won't be balanced" card, when game already isn't balanced in any of the versions.)TL:DR Add stuff. Add more stuff. Add QOL changes from Retail. Add achievements and link them with Retail ones (Completing X thing in Fresh+ would give you achievement on Fresh+ and Retail, however completing on Retail would only grant you Retail achievement - Unless it's Feat of Strength/Unobtainable.). Make leveling much faster, but keep the gameplay bit slowed like on Classic (Needing to drink/eat every now and then, etc). More talents. More gear. More raids/dungeons. More battlegrounds. More non-instanced content, but keep it on Azeroth. Add challenges for Fresh+ servers - Once completed, keep rewards on new seasonal leagues/Retail. But most important, make new game twists/mechanics every 3/6 months, t
At this point, Blizzard should just let the Jailor win Shadowlands and the bronze dragonflight can take us all back in time to Vanilla. Do a reboot like FF14. They can come up with new systems and other ideas. This will keep WoW going even longer since they keep trying to milk their community with these old Classic releases.
I'd really like to see this personally. If they bought in these kind of changes and then hard forked wow from the end of WOTLK to something that doesn't break the landscape of Azeroth (Cataclysm) and kept to the classic game values we would be better for it.
Just rework the game, give us a gameplay like Cataclysme/MoP for our class and dgs/raids, give us better graphics, reduces golds requiered for all things, up the respawn of ressources, ban bot and gg
I want to see a Fresh Start Progression server that has some current items in it.... like Achievements from launch, barbershop, transmog, etc....
I didn't play classic much for a few reasons, but i'm heavily playing tbc. Here are the main issues I personally had with classic:1. Debuff limit sounds extremely annoying to deal with. 2. World buffs are extremely annoying and remove the challenge. 3. The class & spec I want to play is basically nonviable (balance druid)Get rid of world buffs, legacies of outdated software (like debufff limits), and do some basic class balancing and I will absolutely play classic+
Summon Stones yes.Everything else no.And for Thrall`s sake, NO cosmetics stuff. Blizzard already turned Retail into a Fortnite, where content is 10 minutes of gametime (+endless stupid grind) and 20 horse recolors.
They will certainly have to do something. By keeping WoW: Classic while having TBC: Classic side-by-side you are splitting the player base. Most of us have already participated in WoW: Classic and if you haven't moved onto TBC: Classic you have most likely "completed" your classic experience already. Obviously, there will be some that will just stick on the current WoW: Classic servers for whatever reason but for most of us that's no good as the WoW: Classic in its current state has completed its cycle. If they want to have WoW: Classic staying around and still feel relevant while they simultaneously provide progression with TBC: Classic and later on WotLK: Classic they have to do something to make the older expansions feel relevant. I'm not a huge fan of the idea behind seasons. WoW: Classic is too much of a time sink and grind for short seasons to make much sense. Unless they do something crazy with the game the formula just isn't cut or optimized for shorter seasons. They will also need to do something about the grind. If they do WoW: Classic in cycles just bringing out fresh servers every 1,5-2 years while keeping the exact same content and cycle going it won't be that interesting for many of us. The time needed to achieve things in WoW: Classic is rather high so for each new cycle there will be fewer and fewer people willing to put in the time and effort required as the cycle is identical each time. While I was strictly on the #NoChanges camp the first time around. I think in the completely opposite camp if they are going to try keeping WoW: Classic relevant with fresh servers. Most of us did already experience a #NoChanges version of WoW: Classic and it was great. But keep repeating that same experience over and over doesn't seem like the best of ideas.Blizzard would need to implement some quality of life improvements so the amount of time and grind needed is becoming less so people don't feel like they are on the same slow treadmill for each cycle. Or they would need to be able to shake things up enough for each cycle in order to make them not feel the same. But that would require some extensive work on modifying and adding to the game. One thing they could do to improve the leveling experience without having to apply direct EXP and loot multipliers is to simply give us the leveling from TBC: Classic. If they somehow managed to backport all the changes to the level 1-60 leveling that was introduced with TBC: Classic it would still require some decent effort, it would still feel like have a good flow of progression while still being more efficient and less of a time sink. Bring us all the quality of life improvement of TBC: Classic, just don't give us Outland and the class changes and the game has improved a bunch right there. And do some adjustments to the end game. Remove silly limitations like debuff slots and remove world buffs and things are looking much better already.Faster XP rates to levelGive us TBC: Classic 1-60 leveling. Providing static EXP modifiers will mess up the flow of leveling and loot will need to be adjusted to offset the economy otherwise you will have a very hard time affording mounts, skills, etc as a result of your leveling too fast compared to what you are getting through the loot.BarbershopCan't really see any harm in having a barbershop. No world buffs in raidsNo need for world buffs at all in the game really. Sure they are nice to combine with leveling but the game won't really miss them.Increase debuff limit on raid bossesObviously. This is a silly limitation hurting specific classes. The only reason to have it in WoW: Classic, to begin with, was to keep the original experience. By doing re-runs of WoW: Classic silly limitations like this is no longer required.Black Market Auction House for vanity itemsI don't really care to be honest.Original Alterac Valley designI don't play PvP so I don't have anything to say about this one.More difficult raid bosses and dungeon encountersDepends on what this entails. Simply adding HP to existing bosses and encounters is boring. And considering WoW: Classic doesn't have any difficulty setting adjusting regular dungeons sounds rough for casual players as they have no way of getting the regular version. But if it means reworking some encounters to make them more interesting or perhaps even add some entirely new ones I'm all for it.Increased rate of item dropsUnless they give us TBC: Classic 1-60 experience where things are already adjusted they would obviously have to adjust loot if they are going to adjust the EXP modifier. Otherwise, some quests would no longer make any sense to do as the drops make them take so long that the increased EXP modifier would make you want to skip all the grinding quests. And the economy would require increased loot as we would level faster, meaning we unlock skills faster and reach level 40 to get our normal mount faster and no loot increase would make us all far less money compared to what we would normally have.Earn gold at faster ratesSame as my comment above really. If you start modifying EXP you will have to ensure that both loot and gold modifiers stay consistent so things don't go out of whack. Considering the idea of all of this is to have WoW: Classic run in cycles I would argue that things like epic mounts should feel easier to obtain. The overall time that needs to be invested in order to achieve things should be lower otherwise a lot of people are not going to bother to invest the same amount of time required with new cycles as they have already done it previously. The ceiling on the time and effort required to achieve things needs to get lower for every cycle as the number of people willing to put in the required effort will just keep getting smaller and smaller.Summoning stones at dungeon entrancesI can't see any reason to not having the meeting stones working. It made sense to not have it in the original run to keep it consistent with vanilla. But for new fresh runs adding these qualities of life improvements is a no-brainer for me.
20 Helpful Classic WoW Changes 1. Use 10ms spell batching from phase (Has been changed so if a new fresh classic happens it will already give us 10ms however allow some spells like redoubt and reckoning and rogue spells to have a higher ms like seal twisting to simulate original 2006 while keeping everything else with 10ms, such as in videos like: How to be a Gankadin) It is not fair you made changes to a hand of justice exploit and that affected reckoning. Reckoning is not hand of justice since reckoning is a paladin talent system and hand of justice is a trinket. Before the fix reckoning was working perfect. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YFvXLcBqOL0 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=eBcQHl5xjTw https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/give-reckoningredoubt-their-own-batching-like-seal-twisting/949566 Other VERY important spells that benefited for other classes inside this 400ms window should also be added.2. Get rid of GDKP. Make it impossible to trade gold inside the 2h hour trade window for raid loot. This means less gold buying because of less Gdkp and increased chance people will ninja the item. People have been abusing GDKP by lying and pretending they have the gold when they don't. They also have been bidding up other's when they don't have that gold. They are scamming people out of their gold so they buy more gold. They also have been cheating by doing group buys with their friends.3. Give us pre nerfed bosses like C'thun and other bosses (similar to what you have done with tbc) Don't undertune bosses https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/just-so-you-know-were-playing-nerfed-classic/280667 https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/years-of-practice-doesnt-change-the-fact/281528 3. Give us possibly less dire maul and zulfarak and Naxx dungeon boosting abuse in classic by reducing the ability for players to walk on walks and path abuse npcs. Dungeon boosts at lower levels would remain because there isnt as much npc path abuse just as in tbc there is npc pathing abuse in slave pens that should be nerfed. If you path abuse the npc should be allowed to hit you without running back and forth. https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=R5wZ99Aeg98 (You've already made less experience gains in tbc dungeons which has helped outdoor levelling so it would help fresh classic) By fixing npc patching in high end raids like naxx you drastically reduce gold farming which means gold price increases to ridiculous amounts that prevents the common person from buying. 4. Fix botting by increasing security detection for bots. If the security detection cannot work, then possible hefty punishments for bots such as double the ban length or permanent bans and maybe blizzard should make an easy extra option for players to instant report bots rather than a more bothersome method so they aren't as lazy. Alot of these bots are rogues so again, the best way is to create a detection program against bots. 5. Have both 1.5 av and non 1.5 av in classic. Maybe adding an extra option in the game where you can choose to do and that can last all day or and that alternate around so you don't have to do thesame one all day. It would make both sides happy and be true to the old game while allowing you to choose through flexibility if you didnt want it. 6. Like you've given us the option to avoid the world buff dispelling griefers by adding the chronoboon, Give us a special raid mode that is exactly thesame difficulty except it prevents us from entering the raid with any auction house consumables or raid buffs. Only items or buffs looted inside the raid can be used. This will end the meta griefing ideology where it doesnt matter if you avoid a gdkp or any raid where they force their opinion onto you by forcing you to come to a raid with buffs or you lose your gold or they give the item to the person with the most buffs. Even if you do your own raid. Eventually people will question your methods and bring the world buffs up and argue you shouldn't be as deserving because you dont have as many buffs. In wow you can't find every person to agree with you. Even if you do find such a person who doesn't mind you reserving an item in a dungeon say as an example, afterwards they will still be aggressive and conflict because they CAN. Even when they know they agreed before raiding. This option prevents people from having conflict about buffs in raids and prevents their ability to be toxic because they CAN BE. So what I'm saying is add kind of like a heroic mode where we can't use any world buffs or consumables that come from outside the raid. We can only use buffs from in the raid. 7. I think giving patch talents and spells how they were per phase so 1.9 talents for Aq40 is a fun idea but this might not work because the game would still be too easy. Kind of like making 16 debuffs 8 for pre phase 5 bosses so sadly it might not work. For PvP however there was a way to make paladin survivability better. Pre patch 1.9 talents allowed paladins to use both blessing of protection and bubble. Paladins also had repentance and reckoning for pvp.8. Give us the ability to restore or swap extremely important quest items AT ANY TIME no matter the time passed in classic and also in tbc because they are useable in classic arena, unless they were nerfed) Items such as skull of impending doom, and swap any items that are big raid hand ins such as the kelthuzad phylactery, onyxia's head, heart of hakkar and the eye of c'thun. This lets players not be reward shy, especially since I haven't handed in my phylactery for mark of the champion for tbc for worrying I hand in the wrong one. Some of these items are also better than the naxx rewards like cloak of the fallen god which means we don't need to restore non best in slot rewards. By having a permanent restore for bis items and very special items like skull of impending doom, you save money because you don't need to have gms cater to everyone anymore. You worry about many people asking you for thesame thing so you have put a rule where you stop your gms from tending to players and restoring their items even when the gms can restore it. You dont let them because it's time and a never ending headache but this option will allow for the most important quest rewards like carrot on a stick or skull of impending doom and 40 man raid quest hand ins to be a problem of the past. 9. Keeping queues down in fresh classic just like blizzard has done with tbc will also help players remain in the new fresh classic. This should be easy since blizzard has already managed in tbc. 10. Fixing dungeon bugs like being locked outside of stratholme gates closing on you right before baron Riverdare or other bugs similar to this like the upper black rock spire bug where if someone attacks anyone by accident in the crowd above you or if a pet pulls at rend the guards all run down and kill you. I think it's cheap when you know youre all dead 5 minutes before they all come and there's no more point in fighting and now you have to reset or if someone wants to sabotage your group so I think the crowd should have an evade on them. I think rend can still cause you all to have to reset as punishment for losing but I think the crowd or pet pulling problem should be fixed (ubrs/strath since no changes wasn't always an option with the world buff dispelling and engineering tanking item so maybe it should be reserved for extreme cases)
12. Improve the silence reporting system because players are abusing it for fun in packs of people against people who aren't doing anything wrong to deserve being silenced. Someone might not like a player talking about anything even if its game related and they will abuse it. Do not remove it, just improve it so it can't be abused the wrong way. Make it so people can appeal for their silence and if they can prove they were silenced for something not worth silencing for then punish the person who did the silence and give them a warning. if they keep breaking their warning they get a ban. The silence has to be arguably meritable.13. Give us the option to change our beard or piercings or hairstyle but not gender because it is not something you can biologically change.14. Possibly remove the addon Quest Helper. If removing quest helper makes the game worse then keep it. It's worth testing. (Blizzard has removed some overpowered addons)15. A classic arena queue system by standing on a gnomish teleporter for gurubashi or dire maul arena in cities would be a good idea rather than taking the Gnomeregan teleporters (Retrowow has made a fun classic arena). https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQUGV7621J-6UEL2sGcd1s74x3qP3TNYgnZ6g&usqp=CAU 16. A bonus 5 man super hardmode classic Karazhan or a very scary Karazhan Crypts dungeon.17. Add a bigger friend's and ignore list and macro list.18. Make Manual Crowd Pummeler (MCP) have a cd instead of charges. This item is the best weapon for paladin and feral druids. This one change would improve PvE headaches alot and improve the game in a classic plus without unnecessary spell changes for paladin and druid pve dps. People went to ridiculous lengths of abusing your restoration system to get earlier MCP charges.19. Fixing Fear in PvP so you don't get stuck inside walls and also fixing graveyard unstuck problems in AV and war riders shooting through walls.20. Removal of 1000 year bans for trolling on forums which is just ridiculous and extreme. Make it so you can get unbanned but the limit to being forum banned is yearly. Missing out on a year of gameplay is like missing out on almost all of classic at this point. Wouldn't a 1000 year ban be itself Illidan trolling? With 1000 year bans, there is a chance the person doesn't want to change accounts and doesn't want to pay another sub and will rather quit. The best thing is to make the player learn from their mistakes by lengthening the ban to yearly so they aren't as eager to start anything bad. --- Adding spells to the game?If you are going to add spells to the game maybe use the original classic crusader strike or original spells? I think it's a bad idea to change the game too much because then it changes the game to a game you cant recognise anymore and it kills the game. What would also be amazing is maybe a classic plus where you can have a very low chance to get the talisman of binding shard or maybe a portal from classic to tbc and you can choose to get the original legendary ashbringer (which could scale with spell damage) when speaking to the npc in scarlet monastery telling to you that you will find him in the outland so you complete the quest in outland and it hearths you back with an instance timer. Or maybe a 5 man super hard Karazhan raid in classic because we have atiesh and test if it is successful. Or maybe you can take portals from classic and venture into tbc so that classic isn't dead because you can interact from classic by taking taking portals thanks to chromie as a level 60 and fight against players from tbc in a raid group but without changing classic so classic isn't updated past 1.13.7. So kind of like a fun cross dimensional same battlegroup realm. You can't gain exp or quest on this realm.Or maybe a special quest where you go to the outland and he gives you a quest where only one paladins hands can cleanse it of its impurity and tells you to go to Tirion Fordring and he keeps it for you. Then you have to come back and take it from Tirion for him to cleanse it but he keeps it locked away in his home. And you can only pick it back from him once every week. You have a 5-10% chance for it to turn into the ashbringer which means more wow addiction. It would take maybe 1/2 a year to 1 year for you to get it. I feel like handing the corrupted ashbringer in immediately for the legendary ashbringer would be too easy and there should be some hard quest. This is a comment about it.https://i.imgur.com/2L7qBqR.jpgIt is the continuation of what you forgot to do.-----I think levelling shouldn't be changed and that only dungeon boosting should be reduced.I think summoning stones should be added.I think gold farming rate shouldnt be changed.I think we should have an option to do the raid without world buffs.I think a barbershop won't kill the game. As long as it's not gender change.I think pre nerfed harder bosses would be great.I think we should be able to queue both long Av's and shorter Av's.I think we should be allowed to ignore more people and add more people as friends.I think debuff limit should be improved to 32 like TBC and can always be tested on a test realm or something.I personally like the challenge of ret being the underdog. I never liked playing a class where you get everything for you on a platter. I think ret should still be the weakest but maybe be allowed to get the legendary ashbringer and have spell damage scale. Ironically if you make ret do godly dps in raids and change them so much it will kill the game and won't be classic anymore because classic is notoriously remembered for paladins having it hard in PvE dps. Blizzard I strongly urge you to only make one change for paladins in classic if you had no choice. My decision is no changes but if you had to buff ret paladin pve dps. All you need is literally to make neretzek or ashbringer or corrupted ashbringer scale with spell damage and spelladin will be viable. You wouldn't even need to add a classic crusader strike. They will already hit too hard in PvP. Corrupted Ashbringers Drain life is capable of hitting at 1000 damage as a spelladin. Make paladins more item dependant than mages or any other pure dps class to indicate paladins are mainly support and can only catch up as dps if they get special spell damage scaling items. Many of my friends who were paladins quit because they were excited about testing and making a spelladin like they did on private servers. If you made seal twisting work then it proccing spell damage scaling lifedrain procs or non spell damage scaling sulfuras procs would have been awesome.I think if you add all these changes then despite the levelling being thesame they will still be interested.Maybe add a feature to wow that would help the game. Maybe something that final fantasy offers which wow doesn't? Maybe add new grapple attacks or special finish moves with a second side screen that appears and shows a close up cinematic of it and you can record it. Say you are a warrior and your finisher is literally a cinematic of an execute but it blacks out at the decapitation so the violence isn't too much. But I think what would help the game is story plot like a Final Fantasy. Add movie cinematics to old games like classic or tbc or shadowlands? Like it would be cool if the Jailer won and like the Avengers we had to and go back in time to stop Arthas killing Sylvanas
Maybe Blizzard should make new battlegrounds where we can play as factions such as the defias and we fight against the horde or alliance as if they are entering our dungeon and we have to protect Van Cleef or Vanessa Cleef.Or a battleground in Stratholme where Malganis is destroying Stratholme and one team is the innocent helpless players who have to be us and we have to try stop the other team which is the scourge so we have a timer after they infect us to beat them or we turn to zombies similar to how we can play as zombies in halo and run and infect players. Technically these battlegrounds don't change the timeline because some people in stratholme may have survived escaping and many player parties wiped in deadmines.Maybe add a fun ride in the Darkmoon Faire where you can do races with mounts like Mario kart? Or races at the thousand needles. And if you are last you have a bigger chance of getting a special to slow down who is 1st. Like in Mario kart 64 or Looney tunes racing on ps1.So a thunderclap special thunderbolt rains from the sky and the person who is first is slowed. Or you can have a darkmoon faire flying mount race. This wouldn't be a regular racing event like gran turismo or need for speed. It would be like a combat battle racing event. Maybe you can have that racing event available 24/7 in thousand needles race way.Didn't Blizzard implement a jousting quest or tournament similar to this in wotlk? And add the soundtrack legacy and other original classic soundtracks to the game.Somewhere it said that back then there was a limited edition cd that had extra music.
no one talking bout instant mail to alts? I've got very used to that now, it'd be rough to go back.
What would make me play classic + is the ability to play a DK in the state of how it was back in Wotlk where all 3 specs could be played as dps, Blood dps was a blast
