I get fixing bugs and unintended situations in an encounter. It really does seem like there was little to no testing this time, all things considered.
They do not cast and move in heroic
When Limit finish beta testing, Blizzard will fix and Method will get world first. This is how you rig the encounter.
pay attention to what is being said" Originally, the Thought Harvester had erratic spawn locations and Harvest Thoughts cast issues, so Blizzard changed the encounter to correct this behavior. However, the hotfix created a new set of issues."originally they were suppose to spawn at random location but somehow that was causing issues with harvest thoughts and blizzard change it. however this change cause a new set of issues, this is pretty standard, anyone who actually follows mythic runs knows that this stuff happens every single time
This sort of thing makes it very hard for e-sports to become a legitimate competitive process.
Beta dev in live game. Bravo.
Has nothing to do whit internal testing, ptr testing or beta testing at all, problem is when things come out on public servers, things will brake, this is due to the fact, that there is way more people playing, way more data going on, what can and will make things brake in a way that was not supposed to happen, this happens every where, be it a game, a program, heck even phones can bug out due to what ever reason, and no testing will help ever to make it not happen.
I don't see how Limit being made to "beta test" gives method an advantage. They still got to the boss first which means they have more time to practice/familiarise themselves with the fight. No matter how you twist it, NA always has the advantage because they start a day early.

Apparently this was either reverted or was properly fixed to not cast on warlock gateways, shaman totems, etc.https://clips.twitch.tv/BlazingNaiveOstrichEagleEye - This shows one targeting Sco but it doesn't move.
