Mark of the Crane Management
Your
Tiger Palm,
Blackout Kick, and
Rising Sun Kick spells apply Mark of the Crane to the target they damage. This increases the damage of your
Spinning Crane Kick by 10% per stack. During
Storm, Earth, and Fire your spirits will jump to targets without Mark of the Crane when you cast these aforementioned spells automatically. They will also never jump to your target either. This means you can tag 3 enemies per global spent during
Storm, Earth, and Fire. In Battle for Azeroth the maximum amount of Mark of the Crane stacks you can have active has been capped at 5. This makes our AoE significantly weaker than Legion but also simpler to manage. You want to maintain as many Mark of the Crane stacks as there are enemies you are fighting making sure to refresh the lower duration debuffs before they fall off.
You want to prioritize
Fists of Fury in AoE but keep in mind
Fists of Fury is a frontal cone so keep an eye on your spirits positioning. You then want to use
Whirling Dragon Punch immediately unless you are trying to perform the SEF Cancel Bug (mentioned later) and will not lose a cast of
Whirling Dragon Punch in that encounter. From that point on you are trying to
Spinning Crane Kick every other global and use it as a filler in AoE until
Fists of Fury comes off cooldown once again. The target threshold for when you start using
Spinning Crane Kick over
Rising Sun Kick damage wise is 3 stacks 3 targets or 4 stacks 2 targets. This does not have in mind if there is a priority target you are trying to kill this is just for overall damage.
