Thank goodness, a hat on a gnome from 50 yards away was really hard to spot while dodging things. Huge W.
Still barely can see a difference...Make all hats look the same and color them in a such way so they can be easily distinguished by just looking at color...
Hopefully this applies to the regular megadungeon for when I eventually get around to doing the deathless run.

Good change. I don't know how the original version passed accessibility testing in the first place. Squint and pray is not good gameplay.
My only potential issue with Morchie at this point is how much uptime you might lose to the boss because of the relatively frequent intermissions. It will probably be fine on fortified weeks, but I imagine this fight will start to really drag on high tyrannical keys. Especially any group with a lot of melee (that lose uptime running across the room and/or kiting your add to a trap) or any class that loses a lot of damage due to frequent movement.
Ah, thank god, I no longer need a magnifying glass to avoid taking a giant dragon breath directly in my face.
I think the whole boss fight is awful.
