Double that increase, and remove affixes and it'll be way more fun.
love that. its a big boost to classes that have costly resources and require multiple things to hit in order to regen it.
INB4 they boost density but NERF XP even more to "balance it out".
It is not just buff the density of the mobs, there are other things in it, that many do not think about, up and downside. For more exp this is great, you can get way faster level.Down side of this is, if you just want to farm the dungeon fast, to get to the boss, upgrade the Glyph, well this than sux big time, the early end game (45-70) where you need the glyph to get leveled, you will spend more time, and sure you get more exp each run, but at the cost of the Glyph and boss loot.Later when you got the gear you want, this is great, i see this will puss to another play style, pure AOE play style, where AOE is all that matters, that will push out any other build, and all you will see is builds that focus mainly on AOE and open world will be dead. When you cant move 5 meters in the dungeons without have to engage a pack, there wont be any reason for players to play open world, where you may have to run a good while to get to a pack of mobs. And yeah i know most builds have AOE in them in one way or the other, but not every skill can do AOE, you will have way more skills that never will get used, open world will be dead, the exp farm will dominate over everything else, sacrificing every thing else for the sake of the faster leveling, every one will just move to dungeons, why play in the open world, where there are some what far between the mobs, if you have to play a pure AOE spec anyway, because you have to get into dungeons sooner or later, so may as-well just go full AOE.On top of this, many may find that the item drops are now way to much, some may think OMFG i have to loot every thing, i need the gold later on... and then it just becomes a job killing mobs, back to town to sell...There needs to be a balance in every thing, cant just throw in 2000 more mobs per dungeon, and think YEP this is what we want, and then not have thought about anything else on the way, but i do nope Blizzard have thought about this.On paper a lot of things seems fun and fine, like the resource burn... and other affixes they now remove, if things have not been thought through it can end destroying more than it fixes.
They need to fix basic issues in game such as being unable to reset dungeons that are bugged for people. Basic game functionality needs to be fixed before adding more things to the game. Hard to do a dungeon and benefit from “more mobs” when you can only do it once. Having to log out and quit the game and only having a partial success rate of being able to fix it on your own side is not a fix we should have to be employing. They need to fix the game as a priority before adding new stuff
Nice now d4 seems to be a Hack n Slay and no more Search n Slay!
Why is blizzard making all the same mistakes that they made in Diablo 3?Diablo 3 had ZERO density and didn't change it until we told them it was trash.Same here.Diablo 4 devs need to read through the entire log of Diablo 3 patch notes, because clearly none of them worked on it or even played it.
Not nearly enough. D3 had the that entire buffed dungeons density in like 2-3 packs in one rift level. If there are performance issues, remove computer -esource drain mobs or spells and get it done
Personally I cannot really tell if it add enough density now. 50% increase means for every two mobs you get one more. Better than nothing, but imho that still leaves the dungeons pretty empty.Another issue of the current dungeon design (which I surprisingly see hardly anyone talking about) is how the dungeons are built. You run to one corner of the dungeon, kill/activate something, then run the same empty way back to another corner and do the same, then run back to the door thorugh empty floors. Who thought this is what people want?Everyone hated act 2 tunndes in D3, everyone loved act 5 graveyards. And yet they didn't give it to us.
They are doing a hidden nerf to xp gain 100%, just like they do everything else.
