LMAO, this system should last two expansions at least to be nice for players...
I had them all to rank 3 before the achievements dropped because I'm completing them anyways. These achievements just made me get rank 4 and rank 5 on the minigame faster.
"If you need more than 228,130 Anima"I'm sorry but this sentence makes me want to curl up into a ball and cry.
Closing in on finishing all my sanctum upgrades for night fae, need another 6000 anima. :)This last weeks changes were incredible, the daily quests, mission table quests, the random world treasures and rares all got anima upgrades too that correspond to this change, though they didn't mention it. Today, from three quests with the mushroom guy i got 18x35 anima in 15mins. If you are at rank 3 for everything, keep going! :D
This is somewhat misleadingIt doesn't say many things like "anima has little use, you can stockpile it but for what?" or"mission table rewards also increase, those that can be done passively and outside your house" or"these will last the entire expansion, so over a year and a half, and beyond that for next expansion"So it's a "must" for the upgrades really... like there are 2 ways of seeing this1) you play like normal and get anima since almost everything drops anima = you will have lots of anima = you can upgrade this for permanent benefits 2) you don't play much = anima is scarce for you = you want it to upgrade your covenant armor and then, maybe save for mount or idk, you don't care. Then still, upgrade it as you'll eventually
"Upgrade all buildings to Rank 3" maybe that will never happen. There is no motivation or obligation to kill yourself in farming anima
Keep in mind there are further anima gain increases with renown in 9.1 coming.
Stop saying it's not worth it, Rank 5 NF conservatory is worth it for the 4 anima plots, you guys write news articles these in vacuums.
Best tip if you are in no rush to swap covenant and want the most efficient long term farm: Upgrade everything to rank 3 and start grinding. When you've bought what you want from your current covenant, then start storing all your anima items in the bank - don't deposit them into the covenants anima storage. You can keep farming with max anima rewards, while still getting to use it all on your next covenants. Requires around 20-30 bank slots in total, depending on how long you farm.
What a weird little news item this is.
It also upped the anima gains from LFR bosses, I assume the same for other raid levels. Used to need a full clear of ten to get the 1k weekly done, now you can get it done in three wings
How to META a system until you hate it and blame blizzard for it.=)
to time consuming for doing so much for a small reward for me not worth even if i want all the rewards ...maybe i have collected everything in 2 years maybe
I don't know a single person that farms anima for transmogs or mounts so this entire thread is just feels off. It also doesn't make sense as we're at the start of SL with more anima upgrades coming in 9.1 from renown ranks so your potential gain from upgrading is pretty dang high if you plan to keep playing the game. Not upgrading the buildings for better rewards is insanity. This thread should make a note at the top stating this is specifically for people wanting to farm anima rewards prior to 9.1.
I would really like the devs to cut the anima cost of all sanctum upgrades by 50% - it would make this a lot more palatable, especially since I switched covenants after renown 40 and I don't grind WQs anymore, there's no way I can upgrade the new sanctum to all rank 3 in less than several months.
