YES! OMG, I hate the achievement "Show Me Your Moves".It required all 10 people to do something without fail at the same time.I spent hours with groups working on and never got it. Now I don't need to! It was the only achievement needed for that particular meta. Thank you!
hum.. coulda they at leats turn the removed achievments a "feat of strenght" for those who worked hard on doing them?the achievs on the game are getting too easy now..
nothing unprecedented about this....This is how bliz makes the game better for casuals.
I'm glad I already have these two achievements completed! It's going to be a real pain in the butt getting SMYM done now with it not being attached to a meta...and I'd want to have it just for completion's sake.I think the only argument here that really holds any water is the inconsistency over what got removed...it doesn't matter if these removals 'trivialize' anything as the time for these raids has long past and it doesn't matter anymore, quit whining about it, but it doesn't make much sense to have removed only some of the achievements that require an exact number of people and not all of them. Especially with the changes being omitted from hotfix notes, I'm wondering both why it even happened in the first place and how people found out about it. lol
yay ty blizz !
I like this idea of making things easier for old content. It is so hard and frustrating to find people to go with for curtain things. It is fine for those hardcore people who are in hardcore guilds who like to get achievements so show off how hardcore they are. But for the most part I have always felt this game is more for people who play like 1-2 hours a day for a couple days a week. I myself play atleast 1 hour a day and more on the weekend days, but the family and everyday life gets in my way of playing more at most times. If you have a mount and you worked really hard at getting that mount while the expack was current at getting that mount then I am happy for you and you can show that mount off to your hearts content, but I am not one of these people and that is why I like this game so much. There is always something to do for everyone who is playing. Hardcore achievements and the top tier gear for the hardcore and those that run heroic 5 man dungeons as their main for of "end game content".
Pretty lame that they do this years later when most of us who wanted the mounts put the work in and got them!
As always in game, the prestige fades after months / years of the release of a certain achievement / gear / title / accomplishment and so on.It's the nature of things, in WoW especially. That's why i welcome this nerf.People skilled / dedicated / lucky / patient enough already got it. For the others, like me, it was hard to find people just decent enough to understand a pretty simple mechanic after all. That's a very good news for me!
If you're going to nerf a meta, why not Throne of Thunder? Totally unique mount, some of those achieves are hard with a small group even at 100 geared. This just makes it easier to get yet another cloud serpent. As far as how I feel about them nerfing metas, I guess I don't care, its not relevant content anymore.
A very dumb "solution" remove Show Me Your Moves! but keep Getting Hot In Here ...While Show Me Your Moves! is indeed harder its basically same FULL 10 man raid bull*!@#...If they want to do something they should either remove all achies that require full raid grp or just make them soloable or doable with less than FULL raid, I myself prefer the 2nd solution, but anyway this "fix" they did is horrible imo...
Sure would love to see Getting Hot in Here removed from the Pandaria meta, too, but a guy can dream.Oh well.
Now only they will remove School's Out Forever from the MoP dungeon meta, that's the only thing holding me back from that red cloud serpent.
