Free Character Transfers Now Available in Season of Discovery

These changes are now Live!

One further change will take place with the next realm restarts, Crusader Strikes ruleset will change from RP-PvP to PvP. Crusader Strike has always been a dubious role play realm since its creation and we want to ensure that players uncomfortable with roleplay are not unfairly actioned for RP ruleset violations.

Lastly we have however held off on opening OCE to US transfers at this time as feedback was strongly mixed on this topic, trending more towards negative than positive.

Unfortunately we do not have any other technical solutions that are supported in Classic to allow more dynamic cross-region play between OCE and US so if and when this move comes it will be all or nothing.

On this particular topic we would welcome further discourse, there is no wrong or right answer so it’s very helpful to see a wider range of player thoughts.

WTF kind of service is this. We pay for this and we can't even transfer. Its been 3 hours since its opened and not 1 word.
Lame ass company can't even execute free transfers that they've had preparation for.
Yea lets just have everyone try to xfer at the exact same time during prime NA hours.

I played Wow classic OG in 2004-2006 and I’ve come back to relive my childhood fantasy, and to actually experience the content I couldn’t when I was younger (MC onwards).

My sub is for SOD only, I don’t play retail or any other version. I’m loving the game and my class (Paladin) - it’s like the Paladin I always wanted, somewhat like the Paladin was at the final patch pre-launch of TBC.

Anyway, I want to experience the rest of SOD content but this wont’ be possible if we cannot transfer. The server is too small. Our population too scarce to keep replenishing our raiders in the guild over multiple phases going forward. We’ve tried to recruit for months with no bite at all. We won’t be able to raid if we stay, and so, the server will die and with that our experience of SOD (and my sub).

Please free Penance for transfers.

Now many more people are commenting and it is a different story.
Let players transfer off Penance, it is dead and not fun.
