Still rolling out the stuff ! Now we need the "invisible" so that now that we are more connected we can be less connected.
Why Facebook? Is WoW going to start doing micro-transactions like farmville now?
I love it! Reconnecting with many people I used to play before and friends on Facebook I did not even know they have bnet and play some of the Blizzard's games.
Nope nope nope!
Nice improvements, but how about the appear offline feature that was promised years ago?
Hell, no!
Yet another horrible integration of a system no one wanted. Just when I think Blizzard has a turn-around they do something moronic like this... Funny thing is as good as Legion is and how it is attracting new and old players alike, it is this kind of sh** that is pushing away again.
I sure do love these optional changes that we can opt out of! Oh wait.Seriously, this stuff shouldn't be forced in. I'm probably in a minority here, but I don't use social media sites; I stay in contact with my friends outside of the computer. I avoid those trash sites because they're not worth using over anything that hasn't already existed for goodness knows how long, such as normal instant messenger programs. I don't use Facebook, I didn't connect to Facebook, so anything Facebook shouldn't pollute my battle.net account in any way. It's such a pointless addition. Bring back the free Peggle addon (so I can beat the hell out of my friends while we raid again), or give us the very much requested invisible mode, not this trash. Blizzard needs to actually ask if people want this junk. Maybe then it wouldn't be so bad if you had a forced update if it was something that the community was asked about prior.
So the nightmare begins. Now all they have to do is offer a mount/pet if connect with Facebook then probably they will get more determination from the players.
But, it is completely optional. You don't have to link your facebook to your battlenet account if you don't want to. No where does it say that you have to do it. I'm not going to do it, just like I didn't link my twitter account to battlenet.
Taken from a reddit WOW post:The new update rolled out to the battle.net client tonight with a revamp of the Suggested Friends feature, and people are just now realizing that with this feature people can see not just the BattleTag of anyone their friends are friends with, but the real names of anyone with whom you're RealID friends. There is an option to turn this off in your Battle.net privacy settings, but for whatever harebrained reason these are opted-in by default. To change it:
Maybe everyone changing their settings right after the update will sen d a message to Blizzard *has hopeful look*
Totally agree with you
Who in their right mind uses Failbook these days? Besides clueless Millenials who take selfies every day.
