I still reckon that Dragon Isles would be a good expansion, especially if N'Zoth wins. Island for each of the dragonflights as the levelling zones
If we were to somehow restore the Dragonflights' powers to its original state, or at least improve their condition, it could be a very nice opportunity for the class of the next expansion to be Dragonflight related. Especially with their connection to the Old Gods and the current events of 8.2.
Blizzard killed Wrathion and his plot relevance long ago. He had a few interesting things going for him but got put in the bin, never to recover.
This post was from a user who has deleted their account.
Please, let us kill that little poohead after what he did. -_-
Please give us a Dragonborne class next expac Blizzard. You have the perfect lore setup going right now and it's a class that can easily be created for all races to play like monk. With different specs calling on powers from different aspects.
I don't trust Wrathion.
Hope we might see the Black Prince on patch 8.3.
What do i think? I think i missed Wrathion long enough. And i want him back!
You... you do realize the "power of the Void" has been in BfA since the very beginning, right? And that the Old Gods are intrinsically linked to the Void? No offense intended, but are you sure you should be writing lore articles when your knowledge of the lore is so incredibly lacking? Please read up before you post more in the future.
Personally I've been thinking about the Dragon Isles as something I'd love to see in game since the very first time I saw the famous concept art. It would be great to see such place introduced, there are many possibilites they could make it something interesting and entertaining. However, turning them into something Argus like? Haven't thoguht of this - personally I'd rather expect Ny'alotha as something of that kind - you know, we get on enemies' territory and slowly progress with gaining more ground and then we get to face N'zoth himself at the end of our campaign. Connecting the two could work though. So yeah, if they make Dragon Isles a thing and do it well, I'd be finally happy with something about this expansion :')
Noticed one of these agents outside Blackwing Descent yesterday while doing a transmog run on my Rogue.Thought it was new, turns out it was?
Well, I do recall at the end of MoP, Wrathion admitted to helping each side to be at war with each other, and since it'd didn't quite go as planned, he said next time, he would "leave nothing to chance". So... I'd say he's waiting for his opportunity, unless the writers have not taken any of that into account.
Considering the lore of the BFA War Campaign, and Sylvannas indicative of mimicking the Lich King (i.e. raising Derek Proudmoore from the dead, who will probably be treated by Calla Menithil), I find Wrathion's involvement fitting into the story line quite well. I found Wrathion's reasoning during the MoP storyline still relevant today to the war lore in BFA. https://wow.gamepedia.com/Wrathion
I hope we won't get any more "mysterious islands concealed from the mortal eyes by mists" springing up randomly in the ocean. Blizzard are squandering the potential of their enormous world by letting it rot in Cataclysm-limbo. If there is a place which could serve as a perfect staging point for Wrathion's entry, none would be better than Dragonblight with Dragonshrines and Galakrond's Rest.Knowing Blizzard, "Dragon Isles" are already in development, and we will be showered by brand new lore in the next major patch, instead of expanding on already existing one... again.
