'is in the making' status takes up to 3 seasons developement time regarding resistence problem before S1. so i reduce my expectations accordingly. they don't have started on loot filters yet
If it was a sellable feature we‘d have it by tomorrow
Typically, backlog means you know people want it and you've written a description of it. It may not even be an implementable description. At my day job, we've got projects on the backlog which have been there for a decade, and could feasibly be there for two more without ever seeing even a proper scoping done on them.Personally, I think loot filters are a bad solution to a problem which shouldn't exist in the first place. If everyone wants to hide white items, why drop them in the first place?
How about they move the loot filter ahead of the shop in terms of priority
We wouldn't need any loot filters if blizzard didn't create 500 useless affixes (like dmg while shapeshifted, dmg while werebear, dmg while werewolf, dmg as werebear, dmg as werewolf, dmg with werebear, dmg with werewolf) and then also all these useless items that is worthless beyond level 50.No one ever asked for loot filters in diablo 3, that should give you an idea how messed up diablo 4 is.
It will come when it will come, but i'm glad it's on their radar at least
I need this feature so much. I'm tired of checking so many yellows for good stats.
why is not part of their launch log?So for this season i got lucky to get Tempest Roar on druid at 70~, got upto 89~, and got my NM 100 dungeon done. (Already killed pre season lillith uber). From what i can tell the Resistance fix is Season 3, so most likely i may check out this game in then. This game is missing so many QoL features that they already had in D3 that's missing, but then again...after watching the last dev video..it kinda makes sense. No one in their team is properly playing the game, the end game is suffering.
Just add an option to automatically scrap or sell them for like 20 percent value.Even marvel heroes had a feature like this ffs
Dunno what you guys expect, let me give you one example how bad it is actually:Blizzard theoretically has 30 year experience creating quests and its UI. In many ways they invented the whole thing and definitely perfected it during WoW. Then they release a game where you can track only 1 quest at a time, it doesn't automatically update, it doesn't automatically switch when you loot quest items, it doesn't properly tracks the progression, many times it shows the wrong location, you can't see your completed quests, you can't see the missing quests, the quests don't have a compass or arrow system where to go to do them etc...There is no one left with experience there, they can't even implement what was in D3 already (well, they don't even know about it because they never played it), the whole game was made with newbies trying to reinvent the whole genre from the start because they are too lazy even to do some research or read the "know how" literally 2 rooms away from them about the previous games
The game Need a loot filter and and auto seller. Add in game pet so they can sell It in shop, let pet loot for us everything and hold the item with loot filter and sell everything else.
Backlog = once the game is good and dead THEN we'll implement it to bring players back
First of all, this is a common sense feature that they knew people would want and there is no reason to not have included it with the release of the game.Second, a feature like that shouldn’t even be necessary if itemization in the game was done well. If the list of potential item rolls wasn’t so incredibly bloated in order to artificially prolong grinding none of this would be an issue at all.
Basic live service loot-based ARPG systems still not part of the game:
backlog of them updating the cosmetic store all the time with new stuff takes precedent it would appear..
