I hope KARMA will bite him.
We got lag on our server, he will never have that, cant buy that.
And just IMAGINE what other transactions this man has!His annual salary is what, 30m$?And imagine where his other "investments" are. Maybe a few NGOs here and there to further demoralize any unionship initiative where his companies/investments are affected?THIS IS WHY no one should have this much power, only entities with transparency.Just watch some documentaries about how rich people influence local strikes, with "environmental friendly" demonstrations and such. It's disgusting.
I wish activation Blizzard would stop doing scum bag things like constantly lay off people while the games suffer from delays and poor customer service and then proceed to give the top people huge bonuses while they pay themselves on the back. It would make me feel better about playing the games If I knew the already overpaid higher ups weren’t paying people off all the time while giving themselves giant bonuses. Before someone starts saying something about capitalism: I’m retired from owning my own business so I think I understand how it works, but just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should.
Let's be real, there's no universe in which an article like this is posted and the consensus is that the CEO deserves the money. Doesn't matter what company it's for; doesn't matter what the CEO did or didn't do; doesn't matter how much money is being talked about. If I ever see a group of people talking about a CEO in a positive way I'll know I'm dreaming. And to be clear, I'm not defending the guy here. Just wondering what the point of this article is really, since it's already accepted that CEOs are to be scorned.
Or imagine how many people you could avoid sacking with that much money alone. #firebobbykotick
What I don't understand is what's up with these obscene numbers... Why $200 mil? Why not something more realistic like 1mil? I don't understand what's up with these ridiculous bonuses and how come the company doesn't realize that's essentially $200mil lost...Does anyone at Activision Blizzard thinks that Kotick has ANY relation to the growth? I guess everyone is getting a bonus, so everyone is keeping quiet otherwise if they state the obvious their bonuses might disappear. It's a pity really. As for the people that got layed off. I don't see how that was related. They fired staff that has literally no use at the moment during the pandemic. If it was me I would've done the same. That's like keeping a gardener when you don't have a garden.I do hope that the shareholders raise the issue, because it's obvious that Kotick had jack#$%^ with the recent success of the company... in fact the company itself barely have any relations to the success. If there is someone who should be getting a bonus in this case it's the pandemic.
Imagine working for them, and somehow getting payed 'less', layed out for less, or being disbanded from them, and what they 'pay' you, is laughable. Happens to many companies. Money gets people so addicted...
