Can't say I didn't see the Sk'shuul Vaz nerf coming. I'm legitimately surprised it ever hit the PTR like it was.
Have to agree about Sk'shull Vaz - it would have been glorious but nerfed into the ground the second someone actually got hold of it... ^^
I agree with the damage % nerf. Not gonna lie tho, I'm kinda disappointed that they removed the signature Blood DK effect from the weapon and made it a boring 30 second proc time. The Proc is gonna suck now in M+ compared to what it was before. 30 second requirement for combat on trash is awful and if it procs on pull instead it's bad as well. When the proc was health/damage taken based it could be timed properly or at least impacted by the player.
Press F to feral staff. Seems like new "tank" staff will be better.
Guess blood couldn't have the damage for even 1 patch...
The flip side to this that people haven't considered is now it works for unholy DKs. Because, you know, they really need that extra aoe damage in those large m+ pulls . . .
Not worth the corruption cost now tbh, even with gear going up it'll only work out to ~1.5k dps per target hit once fully geared.Pretty much every other T3 Corruption or combination of corruption items = 25 will be better than the proc now. =/The nerf was clearly justified but now the weapon is meh, only saving grace is the 5% armour.
All other Tank weapons were Okay, the DK on was busted. But now its from top 1 to worst. Typical Blizzard strategy
Unholy DK is balanced in mythic +. People see 1 million damage in the MDI but will never see it in-game unless they're doing huge pulls in 15+'s with a team in discord. We've also been in the bottom three for every raid this expansion even after the buffs.
