Imagine how popular Kotick would suddenly become if he gave every one of his employees a $22,000 yearly raise.(Because that is how much money his bonus is worth, for the number of employees he has.)

"We have employees in positions that is rendered useless during corona, we've had them now for a year and with corona still restricting their job's, it's about time we fire them as we don't need to go and pay roughly 150k a month for employees that has no tasks" This time being atleast there is a good reason to why people can be laid off.
