Quite doable at lower lvl solo :35/36
1. Loot the hammer.
2. Accept the quest from the hammer to find the letter. (make sure you get the quest The Broken Hammer (79939)]
- Team up with others as the letter is lootable in group with other`s aswell!
3. If people are farming around the hammer run to the east and farm the ones in Shadowbreak Ravine (80.50, 78.00)
- Mostly spawning only non-elite: Summoners/Invoker at east.

This is riduclus! I have the Quest (so yes I have clicked the hammer and if I do it again it says you are already on the quest) and I kill correct mobs but still no letter after 30 kills!

If your quest is stuck on trying to talk to Katherine the Pure via "Find someone who can tell you about the hammer 0/1" after already getting the hammer and the note, try training all of your skills, then talk to her again. That just un-bugged me.

Absurdly low drop rate. What the hell blizzard? There's already only ~5 spawn points for these mobs in the entire area, and you decide to give the quest item a drop rate so low that it took me nearly 20 kills to get it. An hour of just running around killing these sparsely-populated mobs, for one quest.

[An ornate broken warhammer lies surrounded by dead Burning Blade Cultists and Scarlet Crusade warriors. A fight clearly happened here, and fairly recently. You also recognize this as the weapon of a paladin of the Order of the Silver Hand. While you've seen many hammers like this one, the quality and worksmanship of this weapon is fairly unique. You should search the area for clues, and find someone who may know more about this weapon.]
