Season 3 Shrine of the Storm Mob Count Changes

Blizzard has updated Shrine of the Storm on the 8.2 PTR with some mob count changes. The overall count required to complete enemy forces has increased, but specific creatures in the dungeon now give more mob count as well.

This new requirement will require 5% more mob count than previous, requiring the group to pull more trash in the dungeon.

Yes, that's right. Those nasty minibosses that everyone skips because they're not worth your time are worth SIX more points, or 0.73% more mob count and probably still aren't worth your time.
Impact on the Dungeon
If we look at a general route for a Shrine of the Storm that includes skips, you'll usually find the following:
In the first area, you skip all the
Ritualista del Mare Profondo
.
On the way to the second boss, you skip all 3 minibosses:
Oratrice del Vento Heldis

Heading to the third boss, you can skip the
Corrente Vivente
, but sometimes you want to pull one.
Lastly, you generally pull all 32

With this route, not much has changed. You'll just need to make up a total of 65 count by pulling extra at the beginning.
You'll lose 32 count from

You'll need to pull an additional 33 count baseline for the dungeon.
This change doesn't increase the count for Minibosses nearly enough, due to their high health pool or lethality. Would you rather pull an extra pack of 3 "regular" mobs that can be pulled into another group, or deal with Windspeaker Heldis for the same count?
The Minibosses have 3 to 4 times the amount of health of "regular" mobs like a
Apprendista Chigliadura
.
The Minibosses NOW only give ~2.7x the mob count as the regular mobs (previously 2x).
This is only taking into account the mobs health, and not how much damage they output with their abilities (e.g.
Tempesta Spezzanavi
or
Venti Impetuosi
) and preventing you from chaining them with other mobs.
Minibosses in Shrine are a massive time sink and are generally more deadly than pulling an equal count of "regular" mobs. As such, minibosses should give bonus count for having to deal with the increased health and its damage. I think groups might actually consider pulling these minibosses if they gave at least double their PTR count or 50 points (~7.5%), if not more.
