If it is what I think it is with replacing the Moonkin form with a non-Moonkin, I got mixed feelings on it. I got no issues if other people want to have no Moonkin in the Moonkin form, but I personally prefer running around as a Moonkin, since the whole thing about Druids is transforming into different forms to aid you. But if it makes others happy, I'll be glad for them enjoying the use of this item.

I really hope it changes to a non-boomkin form, as much as i like the owl its a hassle while doing stuff in the open world when mounts are involved
1. i have to constalty reenter boomkin after mounting (the 500 mana it costs to shapeshift also really adds up)
2. use gift of gob or noggenfogger to transform into a non boomkin so i can stay in boomkin form while mounted
(i think its weird it only works with boomkin and not cat or bear)

i dont mind gob, but if i could wield a cool astral form and enjoy the gear ive been collecting that would be sick!

A couple of things:
1. The Crystallized Starlight automatically goes onto your key ring.
2. It allows you to be a Moonkin without the owl form by placing a star sparkle effect around your natural Night Elf or Tauren form.

Went there and, no Astral storm to stand in....nothing there :/

This is the best thing ever so far. You don't drop boomy form when mounted! Used Noggenfogger Elixir for the slow fall and just stood in the stars after I got to the top of the ruins.

When I arrived at the area to get this (59, 79 coords in Ashenvale by Fallen Sky Lake), I noticed an untargetable Tauren Moonkin (I myself am a Horde Tauren Druid) NPC waddling up the road and turning off the path to "lead me" to the top of the hill overlooking the ruins in the water where the Starfall Sparkles were. I popped noggenfoggers until I got slow fall, mounted, and aimed to land on the top of the ruins longways (very easy to overshoot!) Stood in the sparkles and they instantly disappeared and the Crystallized Starlight item was in my keyring.

-Click the item once to give yourself the "Astral Form" Buff. If you are already in Moonkin form, you will need to shift out and back in again for it to give you the effect,
-It stays on through death, only coming off if you physically right-click the buff off. If you click it off while in Astral Form, it stays on until you shift back out.
-Allows you to be in "Moonkin" Form while mounted! Great for PVP when you need to dismount and fight quickly.
