Thanks to the massive buffs from Corruptions, full tank raid compositions have been pretty popular this tier, with Heroic cleared by
30 mixed tanks
and a group of
30 Protection Warriors
, but we now have an even greater achievement as group of 20 tanks have managed to clear nearly all of Mythic Ny'alotha, including
Mythic Carapace and N'Zoth the Corruptor
, leaving only Il'gynoth alive due to the abundance of melee and lacking dispels.
Consisting of 6 Protection Paladins, 4 Blood Death Knights, 4 Vengeance Demon Hunters, 3 Protection Warriors, 2 Guardian Druids, 1 Brewmaster Monk, the full tank composition relied on their natural self healing tools to avoid the need for external healers, while relying on the stamina scaling
Dévastation du Crépuscule
to deal damage damage. Like similar tank raid groups, a variety of stamina-increasing tools such as
Force du gardien
were stacked to increase the entire raids health into the millions, both making survivability easier and massively inflating their damage dealt, along with haste increasing effects like
Éclat des Titans chargé de vita
to create more Twilight's Devastation procs.
Also of interest is the impact on ranking, as stacking tanks this way massively skews their damage rankings compared to normal group compositions who only use one or two tanks. This has prompted Warcraftlogs to put up a poll asking users whether they believe those more gimmicky group compositions should not be allowed to rank, as they would very easily end up taking all the top spots with little to no real competition.
