I just got this from BWL and I will be updating since there's no information on it as to the current steps.

At 17, 46 you'll find the camp in Burning Steppes. There is a tent and upon interacting with it, Estelenn appears in stealth.

She gives you a quest, "The Beast Master of Moonglade".
The objective:
"Travel to the village of Nighthaven in Moonglade, on Kalimdor. Seek out the troll Banteazo, a hunter, and ask her for insight into beast mastery."
Banteazo is at 56, 32. The north-eastern most hut icon on the Moonglade map.

She gives you a quest, "Dive! Dive!"
The objective:
"Travel to the hills on the south side of Moonglade, on Kalimdor. Look for an air vortex east of the hills near the Timbermaw tunnel. Use the Dive skill of an animal companion to pierce the whirlwinds and retrieve a fragment of elemental air."
At 39, 68, about the midway point between the flightmaster and a small lake, there are three air elementals called Wild Windtwister with 6.7k health. You don't need to kill them, just summon the pet with dive, send it to attack the "Air Fragment" on the ground with dive on, and it gives you the fragment.

She gives you another quest, "Prowler".
The objective:
"Travel to the barrows on the east of Moonglade, on Kalimdor. Descend into the southeastern most Stormrage barrow den, and look for an earth elemental fragment in the depths. Use the Prowl skill of an animal companion to bypass the guardians and retrieve a fragment of elemental earth.
Go into the southeastern most barrow den, and look to your left once you descend into the main room. Have your prowled pet attack the earth elemental fragment, and return to Banteazo.

She gives you another quest, "Tracks in the Snow".
The objective:
"Travel to the hills in Winterspring in northern Kalimdor, north of Everlook, to meet up with Estelenn and find out what else she needs."
The campsite is at 58, 21, head straight north from the E in "Everlook" on the map until you find "Old Campsite".

The campsite gives you the quest, "Out in the Cold".
The objective:
"Use your survival supplies to set up a campsite foundation and a crude tent.

If you lose your foundation, make a new one with your survival supplies and bring the materials there."
Right click the supplies, and put it on the ground.

The newly spawned tent gives you the quest, "One Night in Winterspring".
The objective:
"Collect bear meat, warm fur, and dry wood. Bring the materials back to your campsite to construct a shelter so that you can survive the storm.

If you lose your foundation, make a new one with your survival supplies and bring the materials there."

Kill bears, chillwind ravagers, and collect sticks from around the trees. Once you turn into the tent, it does a quick, small cutscene of the day "progressing" and then Estelenn spawns.

She gives you the quest, "Bug Hunt".
The objective:
"Travel to the Cenarion Hold in Silithus, on Kalimdor, and speak to the druids there about the evolving, silithids. Aid them as requested while practicing your marksmanship skills."
Speak to Commander Mar'alith.

He gives you the quest, "The Only Good Bug is a Dead Bug".
The objective:
"Find and defeat four silithid darters. These are fast-moving, small silithid wasps with a blue exoskeleton."
The quest text references going north to Hive'Ashi.
They can be tracked with Track Beast, so far I've only seen them on the outskirts of Hive'Ashi.
Turn back into him after you've killed 4.

He gives you the quest, "Everyone Knows that Bugs Can't Fly".
The objective:
"Fight a silithid darter until you weaken it, then use your Concussive Shot skill to slow it. When it frenzies, use a Tranquilizing Shot to knock it unconscious. Tie it up, drag it back to Cenarion Hold, and secure it to the hitching post across from Commander Mar'alith's war room for further study.

Return to Commander Mar'alith in Cenarion Hold when finished.

You can learn Tranquilizing Shot from the raid on Molten Core."
You have to have Tranquilizing Shot from MC for this, as it plainly states.
Take it to about 20-40%, Concussive Shot it, and then Tranquilizing Shot. You only need to right click the bug afterwards.
There is a wooden pole labelled "Hitching Post" directly across from the building the Commander is in. Right click on it and turn in to the Commander.

He gives you the quest, "Meeting the Menagerie".
The objective:
"Travel to Un'Goro Crater, in the south of Kalimdor, and find evidence of Van Amburg."
UPDATE: I've found it, 23, 33. South of the entrance to Silithus. Watch for a path up into the mountain with three torches leading up to it, they're spaced out a bit going up the path. You'll find Estelenn crouched in stealth.

She gives the quest, "Showdown at Un'Goro Crater".
The objective:
"Travel to the camp of Van Amburgh in Un'Goro crater, in the south of Kalimdor, and defeat the dwarf and his menagerie."
Speak to Estelenn to start the fight, but right now on Wild Growth Layer 1, the quest is bugged and his pets are just fighting him with no end to the fight in sight.

UPDATE: Seems it's either been fixed or they're forcing layers to fix this.

HOW TO FIGHT THEM:
They can be a bit rough and tough, I highly suggest being Beastmaster for this. Whenever you "kill" one of the animals, you can right click to tame it and bring it on your side to help you fight the other pets and also are the scripted way of killing Van Amburgh.
Bear: Tank and spank, easy enough.
Lion: Attacks hard and fast, you can try to out heal it but you'll end up kiting it. He will come out maybe halfway through fighting the bear, just ice trap him till you're ready but the bug will come soon.
Bug: Ranged spitter, ice trap him until you're done with the Lion.

Easy enough for the most part. Don't use explosive trap or shot since you'll need to freezing trap. Talk to Estelenn when you're done.

She gives you the next quest, "Night Falls".
The objective:
"Walk with Estelenn and see what she has to show you."
You'll follow her to a shallow grave, ~~Mankrik's wife is finally found here~~ where the reveal is that Estelenn IS the wisp that helped you find him, and she's been seemingly dead. You then take her swords and congratulations, you survived the day long bug!

Loot your swords and be done with it!

[The note that you've found appears to be a receipt for the suppression traps surrounding the lair of Broodlord Lashlayer. The note states that if the Broodlord needs more Suppression Traps, he can purchase them from the camp of the seller, near the west side of the Burning Steppes, just south of the road to the Altar of Storms. The note also says that the seller may be moving on soon, so the Broodlord should hurry if he wants more traps.]
