Today we are taking a look at why most of the top parses in
Warcraft Logs
are using the trinket
Hochgeborenenkompendium der Stürme
.
This trinket was added in Patch 8.2 and was really strong at the time, becoming instantly better than any previous trinket for casters. Now, with Shadowlands Pre-patch, the trinket is back in logs for similar reasons.
The trinket procs quite often, causing
which deals a small amount of damage and grants a stack of its buff,
. The high frequency of its procs causes it to have a very high uptime (above 98%) on its buff
. The effect currently gives 28 haste per stack, but stacks up to 4 times, for a total of 112 haste.
That's a lot of haste. To put in perspective, a Mythic
Vitageladener Titanensplitter
, paired up with a
Spiegelnder Sandspinell
, only gives a base of 42 haste, ignoring its proc, bringing a difference of 70 haste between both trinkets, which is around 7% haste, before
Diminishing Returns
. Making this trinket really strong even for non-intellect users.
