Spiteful Mythic+ Affix Changes in Patch 9.0.5

The Spiteful Mythic+ affix received a change in Patch 9.0.5, adding a debuff when you're fixated by a Spiteful Shade. We've also had some reports that Spiteful Shades have had their melee range reduced. Have you felt this change?
Spiteful Fixate Changes
The
怨毒
has received some minor changes in Patch 9.0.5. First, a new debuff
怨毒锁定
has been added to players when they are fixated by a Shade. Previously, players could only determine who was targeted by a Spiteful Shade by using target of target. Now, if you want to create a Weakaura that lets you know when you're fixated by a shade, it's much much easier!
Also when you're fixated, you also get red eyes over your head which are much easier to see then the previous purple eyes.
Spiteful Melee Range?
We've also heard some reports that Spiteful's melee range was changed in Patch 9.0.5 and the adds no longer have "long arms". This should make it slightly easier for melee to not get hit right away, but melee will still likely need to leave melee range to kite.
