Chat Moderation Update - Restricting Messages with Reserved Words

A small moderation update has been found on live servers, preventing players from sending messages with so-called reserved words. As of right now, only one racial slur appears to have been added to this filter, although the system represents a more aggressive stance toward moderating chat and prohibiting derogatory language. For obvious reasons, we won't be repeating the word here.
Unlike some filters, this blocks the message entirely, rather than censoring, scrambling, or redacting only the reserved word.
Interestingly, the censoring only appears to work for messages sent directly through the WoW game client, while messaging the restricted word through Battle.net chat or Diablo to a player logged into WoW will still show the message without triggering the filter on either end (meaning both you and the intended recipient will see the full message). This makes it seem as though this unannounced feature is still in testing, and that more words will probably be added as time goes on, as well as extending to other Blizzard games.
