Tier sets are class-specific sets of gear that provide specialization-oriented bonuses when equipped together, with bonuses for wearing
2, 4, and 6 pieces
of the tier set. Tier 1 is the first tier of Season of Discovery, coming with Phase 4. These items are all obtained from within the Molten Core.
Tier 1 Sets in Season of Discovery Phase 4
Each of the tier sets in Season of Discovery Phase 4 has its own name, with a slight change for each specialization of that class, including color! Below, we have listed all of the tier sets coming with Phase 4 of Season of Discovery, as well as which specialization will wear each set.

Tier 1 Drops and Sources in Season of Discovery, Phase 4
Season of Discovery Tier 1 tier sets are obtained via Class Tokens dropped from

bosses. Similar to the class-grouped tokens dropped in Phase 3 Sunken Temple raid, the
Molten Core tokens
are also grouped, but into three separate tokens as opposed to the two tokens available in Phase 3.
All Tier Tokens are available from various bosses, including

. Notably, none of the Tier pieces are available from trash in

, unlike the original Tier 1 pieces.

Tier 1 Set Appearances in Season of Discovery
With Season of Discovery, the iconic Tier 1 sets from Classic Era are here; however, this time, Blizzard is giving us new revamped sets, as well as more sets per class to align better with new and old specs, and some fresh new looks to top it all off!
Some of these sets still look like the OGs, like the
set for DPS Rogues, while Rogue tanks get
sporting a shiny gold and black recolor.
We've put together a list of each tier set's appearance per class below, take a look!

Tier 1 Set Bonuses in Season of Discovery
Each Tier set provides a specialization-specific bonus when equipped with
2 pieces
of the tier set, another bonus at
4 pieces
, and a final bonus at
6 pieces

Damage dealt by

Bear Form and Dire Bear Form increase all threat you generate by an additional 20%, and

Feral Druid DPS -

I'm confused how the Warrior set works with Gladiator Stance. Are you expected to stance dance out of Gladiator to gain bonuses? Seems really strange. The whole point of Gladiator is that they can use every skill in that one stance.
