This quest is quite possibly bugged at the moment due to the terribly long spawn rates for the mobs.

Its worth skipping this quest and doing it at a quieter time while going to one of the other shrines in the meantime.

The spawn rates were quite fast for me. The only problem was that the supplies can be looted by anyone, they do not have to be in your group. This reminds me of the days of another game that kill stealing was a regular occurrence. I hope Blizzard changes this quest.

End of the Supply Line and Harrying the Hunters can be done by both factions, but "The Voice of..." followup requrement is different.
Goldrinn's Ferocity and Howling Mad allows other players to share you quests next on line, but Lycanthoth the Corruptor {H} will let you be in same phase as npc.
Into the Maw!{A2 ;H ;H2}. There are 2Alliance and 2Horde variants, for each faction one from wolf spirit and one backup from main quest guy in Shrine of Goldrinn.
Whole Firelands Forgeworks(8) chain doesn't have any pre-quests. You can get first time to Hyjal and ask warlock to summon you there and do the quests. However Lightning in a Bottle {H} is needed to use the standart teleport.

What the? I was there for fifteen minutes and no spawn, so couldn't do anything with slaves either. The whole quest line gone down the drain. Blizzard screwed up big time.

Unless you're planning on doing this quest on your servers lower-pop-down-time, skip it...

In 20min, I got 1 (and I had to be quick about that!)

I have never even SEEN these mobs.

After a few cruise-bys at various times, I waited on the bridge near the bulk of the slaves for an hour.

That's right, an hour.

From 2-3 am sever time. Just grabbed my crochet hook and sat down to wait.

No respawns, ever. Lots of people coming and going, staying a little while and then flying away to come back later.

No mobs. Ever.

This is not a ninja problem. There was nothing to ninja.
It was not a crowding problem. At any given time there were 1-3 of us; I think we'd at least have bagged 1 each if we were sharp.

If this quest is necessary to move on from the area, the problem of the respawn has got to be fixed immediately.

The problems reported here have nothing to do with spawn rates, its all about server glitchyness. When the quest is working, the road is literally full of these guys (every few yards), even with dozens of ppl doing it you cant miss them. When it's glitched you'll just see a handful of slaves standing around confused and no ogres.

I logged in right after a server reset and completed both quests in under a minute.

Blizz needs to fix the spawn rate on this, there's one like every 5 minutes and with 10 different people killing the same guy and we have to kill him 4 times, this quest is going to take a couple hours.....please fix.

the only one sure thing about this quest: it's provided an endless opportunity for ganking people standing around looking for ogres.

note: i'd think this would be a given by now, but if you're gonna try to gank a mage on a flying mount do yourself a really big favor and make sure you have either a parachute or some other way of preventing yourself from kissing dirt.

Submitted a ticket and got the default response: After an initial investigation, it appears that this is an issue we are aware of and are currently working to resolve ASAP.

It told me to check the forums on battle.net for any updates to current problems. That forum led me to their Cataclysm Hotfixes blog at http://us.battle.net/wow/en/blog/1232869

•Twilight Proveditors for the quest "End of the Supply Line" in Mount Hyjal should respawn at a more consistent rate.

Guess they have to up the respawn rate again.

It's Jan. 14th, and the respawn time on this is still awful. When I first came here, it was crawling with them, but I've must have been here about an hour and still no sign of anything. Funny enough, I think that this is the only quest that I've had a problem with.

I did this quest perfectly fine on three characters WITH COMPETITION (one fairly recently). When did this quest break exactly? Also, I'm seeing some of the pack holders just standing around. Typically you were able to loot other player's packs, but I can't even loot these.

I just tried to level an alt for the first time today and looks like it's broken. I just see a bunch of twilight slaves at random places that cannot be interacted with and over the past 4 hours, none of them have changed position. I check every now and again so i'm guessing not a single ogre has spawned.

There is a major pack of bugged slaves near the twilight command camp at the end, maybe a stack of 12 of them on top of each other that also can't be interacted with.

Jan. 17th ...This quest and In the Rear with the Gear are bugged. No mobs are spawing. Three slaves are present but they are not moving. Now I cannot continiue questing Hyjal until this is fixed. Wonderful......

Note: The Slavedrivers MUST be within a range of about 20 yards of the slaves to make the slaves drop the loot.
I think blizzard changed the spawnrates, because I just did them all after each other in less than 5 minutes.

I just did this quest on an alt. There was a stack of the slaves in the Twilight Command Post that were stuck. Because of it the ogres were only spawning 1 every 5 min or so. I let one get to the stack of slaves and killed it and it reset everything so that the ogres were spawning every 30 seconds or so!

I've done this quest on two characters already, with a perfectly reasonable spawn rate. There was a steady stream of mobs walking up the path.

However, on my 3rd alt, I've seen two quest mobs in 30 minutes. Ridiculous.

There are a number of people who reported spawn rate bugs, and slaves just standing around by themselves.
I noticed when I killed the ogre, then pulled the Slavedriver away from the road (and the slaves) to avoid the next very close group, it didn't trigger the slaves being freed.
And they simply stood around, or jerkily inched forwards.
This may be related or even part of the cause of the buggy spawn rates and weird behaviour that has previously been reported.

I'm also noticing that the gaps between each of these travelling groups is much larger than before I did the quest.
It's as if some respawn groups are failing to respawn correctly, even in the short time since I started the quest.

Conclusion: Regardless of the cause, I suspect the previously reported bugs haven't been properly fixed yet.
I suggest that if you experience horrid spawn rates:

put this quest on hold,
and return as soon after the weekly server restarts as you are able.
