Entre na lava e fique junto ao verme, pois assim não tomará dano de seus ataques.
Quando aparecer uma seta azul, vá em sua direção e coloque a bomba.

You need to click on the bubbles in order to summon the worm, and then when you get the message "the lava worm is going to bite" put the bomb down. It wasn't obvious to me that you need to click the bubble, especially as the click icon only comes on some parts of the bubbles

Watch out for the Molten Behemoths as you're doing this. They get in the way. And like to squish you under their big, rocky feet.

I strongly recommend you clear any Molten Behemoths out of the area before you even begin to attempt this. Two blundered into the area chasing after someone else and between their stomps and the huge AOE done by the worm, I was dead in seconds. The Behemoths should be neutral if you're on this quest, or failing that the area should be phased.

I did this today on my rogue. Best advice I can give: Bring a friend. It killed me before I could get the "The Lava Worm is about to bite" message even using all my tricks. Had to bring in a friend to complete the quest.

Is this quest available everyday? Ricket isn't even in the cave today. (second day with Armorer recruited)

I don't know if this is a bug but the quests detailks listed here indicate that it is a Horde Daily but I was able to complete it and my toon is a Allie Death Knight.

Anyway, I found the quest quite easy, I picked the worm up in the centeral pool but stayed on the eastern side of it to avoid the behemoths (maybe coincidence there were none there).
I used my 60sec ghoul to keep it occupied and I ran around the worm in a tight circle, waiting until he give the indication he's about to bite. Look for the blue arrow and place the bomb there.... 1...2...3.... bomba la

Completed this on first try (barely) as an alliance arms warrior, the only real tactic hear is to survive until you get the message "The worm is about to bite! Place the bomb down now!" in your chat box.

I find the best thing to do is get in the lava and be right next to the worm so he can't get the lava shower on me and helps me stay out of the way of the Behemoth.Then run out to the blue arrow when it lights up. The lava does surprisingly little damage. This worked on my mage.

I usually stand at 54, 40 and wait for one to spawn in the pool right there. I haven't had 1 behemoth pat over there and you have a little alcove to run back to if you have to avoid the lava shower.

Very easy quest on any class that has an interrupt. Engage the worm, interrupt the Lava Spit whenever you are able. When it casts Lava Shower, simply move backwards about 5 yards (if ranged), or move behind the worm (if melee). The lava pools do very minimal damage so don't worry about standing in one. As soon as the blue arrow appears and worm starts to "cast" Burning Hunger, drop The Bitter Pill, back up and wait for the explosion to take him out.

It's great when the bomb doesn't work. It's great that you have to stand in the lava to even hit the thing if you're melee.

Remember when Blizzard used to be able to design quests that everyone could do? Not any more.

I ended up just killing it normal way. Couldnt get it to eat pill.

I summoned the Magma Worm by clicking on the lava bubbles - keeping next to it I spammed it with AoE and melee spells and made sure no Behemoths were in the area. Disrupting the lava spit spell wind up and getting behind it, I killed it in the "Time Honored Fashion".

I find this really easy and never drop more than 2-3k in health during this quest. Im melee so hope my way helps other melees.

Click the bubbles to summon the worm.
Stand in the middle of the worms neck (if that makes sense).
Hit the worm for all you got. The worms attacks cant seem to reach you if you stand there so the only damage you should take is from the lava which is about 600 damage or so.
Use the pill when prompted.
As a frost DK, I kept up my diseases and used my Death Strike to heal myself when need be.
Dont move from the worms neck area if possible. I also didnt seem to aggro any mobs in the area because I was in the lava, the mobs didnt bother me but if you want to clear the area first to be on the safe side then do it.

Like I said, I have 132k health and never dropped below 129k.

I accidently found out you can get credit by helping someone else. I had a worgen help me in Sethria's roost since we were both killing things(I was playing my orc). Then, in molten front I saw him killing this creature so I paid back the favor by helping him get it to where it was ready for the pill and when he gave it the bomb it gave both of us the credit which i thought was pretty cool. We did a little cross faction aiding that day.

[As far as I'm concerned, there's no problem that can't be solved with bombs. And if a bomb doesn't solve your problem on the first try... use a bigger bomb.

So there's this big worm that's been eating people near the lava pools up north. Search for breath bubbles to find it. Attack it until it prepares to bite, then place this bomb down in front of it. Then sit back and watch the fireworks.

Hmm... there was one other thing I wanted to say... oh yeah! Don't get eaten.]
