Spawns straight ahead from where you enter the cave, at the bright purple stones in the middle of the big room. No need to follow the path to the second floor and look.

Cave entrance is 69,67 in >LOWER< marshlands.

the cave enterence is on the map, if you look under the S in Silvermarsh, about 1/3 the way to where it says Twilight Overlook

He will feed on the Mercurial Oozes in the MERCURY SWAMP until....

You know what? I say we just let this happen.
Evil guy who wants to eat mercury is what I would consider a 'self-correcting' problem.

You can see the cave entrance from where you're standing when you accept the quest. The entrance is visable on your main map as well.

It's north-east-ish and within 300 yards or so. Go straight in, follow the tunnel around for a bit, and the named mob is standing on the island in front of you in the cave.

This lists as ending at Seer Karmo but it doesn't for me: after killing Maziel I got the quest completion right there in the cave, where I was able to select the reward.

Maziel is a Fast Respawn ,,, less than 2 minutes ,,, maybe only 1 minute ...
He has a oozz next to him and ya have to fight both at same time ,,, to close to pull either without the other...
I killed both of them and decided to kill two other Oozzes before I went and looted Maziel ... Oops ,,, he had already respawned ,,, no problem for me ,, with my level 84 Warlock and Pet,,, I killed him again...
Not long after I had looted both of the Maziel corpses he respawned again... Not much of a Drop and not worth killing him again...

Just to make things a tad easier, i chose to kill the two mobs on the island with him.. was simple quest for my 82 Arcane Mage.

85 shadow priest, I just pulled him with vamp touch and the ooze totally ignored it. Maybe I got lucky and hit him at the max range of the oozes pathing, but I didn't try to.

It's worth noting that while this quest requires level 81 to complete, to start the quest chain Pesquisa do Crepúsculo you need to be level 82.

Descrição

[Maziel's journal chronicles a ritual of ascendancy that would transfigure his body to one of pure quicksilver.

The ritual would take place in the cave near the Lower Silvermarsh, where Maziel would feed upon the mercurial oozes until achieving full strength.

Perhaps it is not too late to put an end to his madness.]
