The Matriarchs attacks are AoE so hunter and Lock pets take next to no damage from it's attacks!
If you don't have a pet, do what the pop up text says and stay on the move!

Tip for Shamans: Drop your totems on her feeding grounds before you summon her. She will attack your Fire totem, but will not do any damage (as it's all AoE). She won't even touch you.

Though she takes damage just being in the trap, when I went travel form and dodged until she gave out, I didn't get credit for a kill.

Tips for Balance druids : use your Treants they hold aggro pretty well.

when i was attacking i wasnt going crazy on my attacks but just to say that she was shifting between me and my treants but they were mostly taking the damage instead of me .

if you are a class that can't cast spells or tomtes you have to run in circle around attack it you just keep hitting it over and over agian thats what i did.

I was a rogue doing this, and it didn't give me credit about 3 times in a row; after dying and logging off (afk) I came back, spawned, and did it with credit.

I don't have an explanation, but if you can't get credit, try logging and/or dying (or re-grabbing quest if necessary.

Not hard at all for a lvl 83 Feral Cat, but what I noticed is that you can get stuck while running around her, due to a trap. Although you can run through it, if you press again a 'move forward' key on your keyboard.

Rogues, the key to this one is to keep her stunlocked and then use killing spree as soon as it pops. I finished her with my lvl 82 combat rogue and had about half of my health left.

Level 83 Afflock -- nothing to it! It's almost disappointing after reading all the other posts.

I set out my Doomguard and barely had time to get my dots up. She went down like a ton of bricks.

Easily done on a Lvl 81 Fire mage. DIdnt have to dodge anything/mirror image. The attacks were weak. spammed pyroblast/LB was easy :)

When you are in the quest area(which should be somewhere with white surounding you will find some red land inside of it. You should notice its blood, put the meat inside the red land and then wait for the Stonescale Matriarch to come when it come just attack it, it is very easy to kill and there thats all the is to the quest.

Don't let her health/being elite fool you. This is a very easy quest. May take a little longer for ranged if they want to take no damage, but very easy for a melee. Just keep running around her. When she does her breath she stops, so you can cast/do powerful attacks from behind while she's casting.
