Not too hard. Time the sentry; wait until he is walking away, toward the portal (not toward the near hut). No damage if you fail, just teleported next to the Alliance commander.

The plans are under the tent on the top of the barrel you have to start reading them as the sentry pats away from you or you will be caught and immediatly ported away from the plans, best to read the plans as the sentry pats towards the questgiver vs trying to read it patting towards the tent.

Another simple way is to wait for the Horde Portal-Sentry to walk past Watcher Wazzik towards the Dark Portal. If you click the plans as soon as she passes next to him, you should have enough time.

If you're having trouble finding the papers like I did, they are located on the barrel under the first little tent as you "enter" the junk and tents that make up the horde "enclosure". As far as timing I didn't even know how to do it right and succeeded first try.

Quest shows as troll druid only for some reason( don't believe everything you read <3), as undead priest was able to get it and complete. standing on highest box in the cart does infact work.

I did this after getting caught-- I flew on top of the tent and then clicked them. Don't worry, you can jump onto it without flying (I checked :])

I had trouble timing this, so I stayed between the crates and the plans and I got them fine. Just jump up and stay between the crates and the side of the tent, that worked for me.

If you stand on the the top of the stacks of crates and barrels next to the plans you won't get spotted.

I did this with a Level 61 Priest-Shadow. Lowered my flying carpet (any flying mount can do the same) just over the barrels and crates by the plans, dismounted , clicked the plans with the Horde NPC walking by. Completed, then remounted my flying carpet flew to quest giver and got credit. Level Up!

Yes I just did that I hid in among the barrels and waited til the sentry was walking away and I had plenty of time I used my stealthed form as a druid to get to that position

If you're a warlock or hunter, dismiss your pet.
It looks like the sentry can see your pet while you're clicking on the papers even if you are line-of-sight.

Jump on top of the tent, stand directly above the map, click it, and complete.

I found the tips above didn't work that well; standing on a tent or stack of crates wasn't enough. Standing INSIDE the cart worked to hide from one sentry, and I clicked the papers just after the remaining sentry passed heading towards the portal which gave enough time to finish 'reading' them.

Best way to do it...stand IN cart but not on the stuff that is in the cart.

There are two npc's who will spot you. This blocks l.o.s. of the npc in front of the cart who has a real short patrol path, so you only have to worry about the other npc on the open side of the cart.

This method works PERFECTLY
As the guards are passing by... stand on the top box/crate in the wagon/cart... then start collecting the plans and even when the guards come back it will still keep going, you wont be teleported out...

This MIGHT be changed in the next update or patch... so the date is

I just flew in on my mount above the tent and when the guard passed me I lowered down to the ground and clicked on the plans. When done I mounted again and flew out. Pretty straight forward.

Okay here is how I did it.
Kill the guard in front of the cart. You won't get ganked by the rest of the guards.

Stand in front of the boxes...wait until the guard just gets passed your cart going towards the portal..then read...should work just fine. But don't waste precious seconds..coz that guard in front will catch you.

As has been said, stand among the barrels. Hover over the plans to be sure you can right click but not yet. Angle your view down and then zoom back using mouse center wheel so you can see all around you. Chances are the plans will be blocked by the tent but you can still hover/right click the plans. Pulling back allows you to see the position of both guards. When they both are walking away from you right click. Got it trying this on the first try.

I'd like you to take a look at those papers and find out what it is that they're plotting. My duty and station prevent me from such a questionable task, but a newcomer like you might be able to slip in unnoticed...]
