Some tips:

Use the map of these NPCs, to find the bonfires and to find the NPC that give out 5x ;) You need them all if you want the cool rewards! :D

NB: You can use Wowwiki and check their map over all the bonfires! Outland, Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdom!

These guys will not aggro you while you desecrate an enemy fire! Just watch out for guards or enemy players on your fire hunt.

Doesn't seem to be mentioned, but desecrating opposing faction fries flags you for PvP, so keep that in mind if you're on a PvE server. :)

Anyone know if the yellow dress that the night elf and goblin celebrants wear is an obtainable item for players?

Funny glitch: I've just seen a dwarven celebrant by the Durotar Flame Keeper - he was Horde-flagged and all.

Since the celebrants of all the races use the same NPC ID, I suppose there's a small chance that a member of the opposite faction will spawn in any given bonfire site.

I found these people at 59.72. at the Flame of Stonetalon. What is all this about? There was also a ribbon pole that when you activated it, it sent a bolt of electricity down to you and made you dance, strange

In any of the major cities, you should be able to obtain some of the quests related to this event. The more people that dance at the same time around any pole the better...

The start for these quests is ouside the portal to Darnassus.

1) First go to either SW, IF, or Darn (I don't know about Ex) And look for the big bon fire. There should be NPC's there to give you what quests are available for your level.

SW - just to the left of the stockades door which is north of the mage quarter
IF - I forgot the exact location, but it's to the right of the forelorn cavern on the map.
Darn - Not actually in Darnassus, but the area by the flight path on the hill going up to the pink portal.

2) If you are high enough there are 6 quests.

Low lev ones
1 4 flickering fires on Kalamdor
2 4 flickering fires on Eastern Kingdoms

High lev ones
3 4 wild fires on Kalamdor
4 4 wild fires on Eastern Kingdoms

5 3 major cities of each faction
Same locations as stated above, not sure for horde

6 4 instance fires
As I recall
Dire Maul
Stratholm
Black Rock Spire
Scholomance

IMPORTANT

MUCH more detail as to the locations of the fires in each area are IN THE QUEST! If you do the instance one, it does give a 'PET' that looks like a red whisp.
