These restrictions are all over the place. Is there any logic or reasoning for these seemingly arbitrary limitations on who can loot and what level and what covenant?
Wow. That sucks. It should be everyone can get the loot regardless of covenant but only said covenant can use the mount after learning it.
Kinda weird how there's not a rare that drops a Kyrian mount
very comprehensive guide! thanks guysshould also be noted that the mount from valfir can only be learned at max level. i got it on my level 55 nf and had to wait until i hit 60 to learn it
These restrictions are so incredibly stupid. All it does is prove that Shadowlands is a disaster of an expansion.
Regarding Gnawed Reins of the Battle-Bound Warhound - I just had this drop on my multiply-exalted Night Fae Druid doing the WQ in the Theater; it confirms your statement neatly. My other Night Fae Druid had Slime-Covered Reins of the Hulking Deathroc drop while she was levelling through the House of Plagues! A first-attempt drop! She had to wait until she capped to even learn the mount, of course.
So that means people camping to kill rares of other covenants are wasting their time? Anima conductor rares only drop mounts for those in that covenant?
There is also tahonta which seems to be necro only
It would be nice if an article included non-mount collectables as well, such as the Necromantic Anomaly, that drops a backpack transmog, that may only be reported looted on a necrolord.
lol stop crying it makes 100% sense on why they did it this way you want the mount lvl an alt of that covenant.
What if someone loots a covenant mount, learns it and then change covenants? Can they still mount it?
