I'm still spooked in Nathria when Venthyr covenant people use their abilities and think it's something to move out of.

Is it just me or does it look like the radius has been slightly increased as well ?
As someone who struggled to see that mechanic this past week when we were doing Denathrius progression, I appreciate this change!
Some bosses need the color variety desperately :| Fighting Denathrius with Swarming Mist active and a Paladin slamming his blood puddle nearby is a damn pain.
Thank @#$%, this is much needed. Though, I just got accustomed to that dark red color, it's a very welcome change, as you don't have to almost exclusively concentrate on not walking into someone elses puddle.
I wholeheartedly approve of this change. Dodging those stupid swirls is quite possibly the trickiest part of that fight on heroic, and it really shouldn't be.
Very grateful for this change.I must say though that in most end game content, ground effects are a similar color as the environment. SD/HOA has a lot of red environmental coloring and ground effects, PF and TOP with green, mists with blue.If this is intentional, ok I’ll accept it even if I don’t like it, as I respect blizzards choice to add it as a way to increase difficulty. I love difficult challenges. I find looking for color-on-color to not be the right way to go about it. Just my opinion.Lastly, I find that many games virtually punish people for playing with very high end graphics because it makes things even harder to see. I find that very ironic (I will say I appreciate the slider to filter out less essential particles - thank you.)
Good change.
I don't like this. It's looks like a fire type boss ability. Nothing to do with Nathria and Sire's art style. Very unwelcoming change
I think aesthetically, it wasn't a bad choice to make everything red. It was a cool aesthetic. Functionally, it was overly difficult to see through a red on red on red.Edit: As a sorta unrelated side note. It makes me happy that the game is receiving these kinds minor changes and improvements that are realistic enough to implement between major game updates. In BFA I felt the game was in an unpleasant state for an unnecessarily long amount of time between patches. Throughout BFA it seemed like the changes were constantly being pushed back. A lot of minor fixes we had to wait all the way for 8.1 or 8.1.5 for felt like they could have --should have-- been accomplished in a hotfix at a much earlier date but were deliberately held back for a major release. In BFA it seemed like they constantly chose to wait for the next major update for minor changes like this that could very well have been implemented much sooner than they actually were and improved the players day to day, and week to week experience.
