Mr Zahrym, i would like to see more playable current content for everyone, for every class than have "Timewalking" and pull maybe bad memoriest from the past :) for example, do you pay attention on % of CM Gold per class cleared? how about do it per spec :) fix current class balance pve and pvp wise and than we can speak about "out of idea" content./cheers
They are often asking "what would you like to see, what would you like to have changed?" but it would be very dangerous to lay open the process of evaluating this input and making decisions based on it.
I'm really liking the convenience of the Today in Draenor side bar, is there any chance/place I could find what Shado-pan daily is active on a given day? I'm trying to get Know Your Role and it's a bit easier to get someone to help me if I knew it was the Blackguard dailies :)
I think these dailies still vary by realm.
Lets address the core of all probs, content wise:1. Challenge and reward vs 2. Non-challenging/casual/ 'for fun' and rewards all around.The most fun i ever had in wow in pve( considering im pvping from vanilla), was in cata early dungeons, so for me, i'd pick the first one. Make a poll? What do rest say?Wasn't this pretty much the attitude with Ashran? Hey, we made this, put a lot of effort in it, appreciate it!...Even in beta, ppl were saying, ok this doesn't look like anything special, it is fun for a while, then it becomes dull, so it's nothing special really.Also, in a time, when epic are literarly thrown in our faces, ofc its hard to come up with new cool ideas of how to make new things rewarding. Content itself isn't a reward. If you compete, you want to win smth, you want something which represents your effort and time. Even if it's symbolic, but cool enough to draw the attention, to make it reckognized.But ofc. if u make it so, that it is not challenging at all, then the reward itself must be dull the same way, so, eventually, it will burn out fast, as being another boring grindy stuff on the list. UNLESS, u actually make it: challenge-->reward--> fun. In contrast to: easy peasy/nostalgia run--->random blue/epic(cuz it doesn't even matter as long as the ilvl is ok)--> fun for the first time, then it's a grind--->go rage on forums-->pissed of devs--->even more pissed of community--->we go our separate ways---->the vicious cycle continues: we whine about rewards, epics are thrown into our faces even more, for the simplest of things.Already we see, that they're getting upset, cuz community will get upset, when we realize, rewards from timewalking will prolly have no meaning. It's gonna be another one of those things: We made it so u can experience it( those who havent) and you, who already did. Thats gonna be the final punch line of defence to all the attacks which will naturally trigger IF, the reward isn't meaningful.So how to really solve all those probs? Maybe, with next xpack, limit the rewards, make them as they should be, rewarding? Otherwise, u'll get into this situation again, where we are simply handed over everything so we don't have a sense of accomplishment.For now, uncommon gear, is trash, rare is not rare at all, and epic has become quite common. See the error?And, having in mind, that the end game content revolves around gear, meaning gear is reward, and since we have this nice classification of it, why don't you put it to a better use?So, for example, make epics really epic, make them drop only in heroic n mythic raids( with some other possible ways of obtaining few, from another type of content) and make the req. for pvp epics a certain rating, nothing too high, but i dunno, 1.5.1.6k? what ever rly, just so u add that dimension of reward. It will change things quite a bit. BUT don't make it so that u can simply get them via some dull stuff as gladiator's sanctum or Ashran, or at least limit that. NOT by rng, but by plausible mechanic, which will say: you wont get this the easy way, get the fukin rating for it. Make us all run in greens n blues so that we work for our epics, and with a bit more challenging content, we'll feel rewarded and excited to put more effort. Another important thing! Rare creeps. They already lost their meaning, even as we see in 6.2 ptr Tanaan. Where ppl say it's flooded with em. SImply rework that. If u want a bit tougher mob, just make it ellite? And get the rare dragon around few mobs which are really, rare, as the name says....Do u not see the 'reward inflation'? Or at least, as mentioned, do a god damn poll about it? See what the rest of the community says.Overall, seems to me, that starting point of any new feature should be: Ok, this is fun, it gets a first round pass. Now, how do we reward it?Essentially it WILL come to that, and all the judgement will stem from it. This isn't an arcade game which you play to pass the time cuz u got no better stuff to do. It's a game in which u invest both money and effort.
That Zarhym can talk al he wants but it is rehashed content really no interest in running dungeons i done a crap ton of times in the past again, offc you dont have to do it but they could have spend that time on making NEW dungeons as they said we whould get during this expansion (instead of the same ones from launch)And the mythic dungeons ye again same dungeons new difficulty = not new content.
I'm not sure when it comes to that. But if you buy your wow tokens on a character level 20 or below, you will always have access to them, even though your game time has expired. Hope this helps :)

Id hold up a couple days before buying a game token for gold. The price will plummet to the low 20 thousands.
