TBH 99% Sure that he's down in The Maw with Sylvanas. Source - Speculation from the book's end.
Sylvanas gone, Anduin gone, this next xpac is shaping up to be a good one. Fingers crossed.
Hmmm....this can't be good...
I hope I'm not the only one caught up on the use of the phrase "old wolf". o.oThat is precisely what Sylvanas used to call Genn, many times, to taunt him. Why would Anduin say that to Genn? I think there is more going on here than meets the eye. Perhaps there is some link between Anduin and Sylvanas. Sylvanas may have said "my actions were my own". But we can not ignore that she may have been under the jailers influence, unknowingly. That does not excuse her actions, no. But I'm quite certain we might finally see Nathanos again. In the cinematic of her judgment we did get a small glimpse at Anduin. He seems troubled, as if he feels he should be judged, or how he seems to be escaping judgment. In truth, he also did bad things, like almost killing the Archon.
I sort of thought it would be Turalyon who would reject Anduin's return, thus kicking off the alliance conflict. Not Anduin himself just chillin. Odd time to shelf him, wonder where this will go.
In the book's epilogue, she is down there killing Maw beasts and saving souls. She knows that it's an impossible task, it'll take eternity to save every single soul who was ever taken or condemned to the Maw. But she hopes that a few million years later she'll be able to reunite with her parents and her little baby brother. Her inner monologue doesn't show anything sinister. Anduin is such a good perosn, I could see him going to the Maw to save the damned. But I'd rather see him beside Uther. Or %^&*.. Why not ahve Kyrians help save these souls?
and what if the quote "The golden one claims a vacant throne. The crown of light will bring only darkness." is about new arbiter - Pelagos?
I wonder how Turalyon is gonna react to the news that he has to stay on. He is a man of War, thousand years of it, sat down in a chair to handle the day to day while everyone leaves. Then when they can come back, the person you’ve been keeping a chair warm for doesn’t want too. Personally I don’t think he is gonna be too thrilled
This is probably just Blizzard doing another recolor. Anduin is Thrall and Turalyon is Garrosh and we're just going to go to Dragonaria so we can rehash that old story. Chromie-Time Isle will be grand!
'The crown of light will bring only darkness.' Not looking good for the Crown of Wills
If you think about it, The covenants are all to blame for any souls left to suffer in the maw, they should ALL be down there helping, instead of leaving it to one person.
So the little lion will finally marry the banshee.
I see the possibility that under the scourge threat Turalyon might contact Yrel on Alt Draenor, and Maghar players know what happened there!
I wish they would drop the high king stuff already. Grenn was a king of his own sovereign nation; it just irks me when he refers to Anduin and Varian before as his king.
They said they aren't going to do a full scale war between horde & alliance like BFA. That doesn't mean that hostilities between factions have ended.Genn at the epilogue of shadowlands seems to be still in angry mode against the horde.Turalyon isn't that of a pacifist either.Night elves still want blood against the horde.Talanji still angry at the Alliance for killing her father. So yea Alliance and Horde relation is very thin right now.
Turalyon was the first administrator of Stormwind after its reconstruction, during the years between Warcraft 2 and Warcraft 3. He was never seen as a problem, back then. Though needless to say, at the time the whole Alliance was united in a single goal: beating the Orcs all back to Draenor. Turalyon became one of the first paladins, but he always had doubts about being worthy... Until Orgrim Doomhammer killed Anduin Lothar and Turalyon found his purpose. Yet, at least in my view, his acceptance towards Illidan and Alleria were a sign that he was rational and understanding. Even as Illidan accidentally killed Xe'ra, he only burst out in anger because he thought they were all doomed... And then calmed down.Because of all that, I don't think Turalyon will be the culprit. It would be unlike him to abandon his wife after so many years fighting side by side against the Burning Legion. I think the prophecy meant two people. The vacant throne might have been claimed by him, but the "golden crown" might have been referring to Anduin, and his "darkness" all fits. It might be anti-climatic after building up so much excitement, but it makes more sense, given Turalyon's past.
